What chisel sizes do you absolutely need for scribing in everyone’s opinion?

Like the title says, was going to get a new chisel kit, either madworks, or DSPIAE, haven’t made up my mind yet, what chisel sizes does everyone here think you need?

.125 and .20 are good for basic scribing.

For which scale sizes? I build HGs, RGs, and MGs.

Those two sizes i listed are primarily used on hg, rg, and MG kits to clean up and create new panel lines. There are a few smaller and larger sizes that you could get as well to help create additional deals.

Yeah I got an Ansai Panel line Scriber, and it has .2, .4, .6, .8, and 1.0. I don’t think the quality on that is too good, and the chisels aren’t marked, so I don’t know which is which. I was thinking I would be good to go with a .125, .15, .2, .4, .6, .8, and 1.0. I think when I get a PG to scribe, I’ll get a few more larger sizes.

The .2, .4, .6, .8, ans 1.0 can all be used for a pg.

The panel with the (X) was rescribe with a .2 chisel. The one under is the original panel lines. As you can see they are the same size.

You should also pick up some scribing tape.

Got some, 3 and 6 mm awesome though nice example.
