Grinding Gunpla's Workbench

Hey guys so when were you posting what I’m working on here along with their finished product as I go along. it’ll probably just be one shot of each cause I don’t want to be full of photos of the same thing.I’ll also be posting descriptions below the photos just in case anyone wants to know what they’re looking at because it looks weird or whatever. This will be especially useful with kit bashes.

I’m currently working on several projects at the same time although I only have visual results for three of them as I’m still waiting for pieces to come in for another one. I should mention I’m going refer to my build bases as racks whether they’re SD or HG changes based on what I have in them at the moment but I’m usually building one SD alongside of an HG all the time anyways.

This is my current project in the SD rack, is the standard Valkylander with the Avalanche Rex upgrade. I honestly prefer this over at standard form just because it makes a much better silhouette and won’t take up as much room on the shelf.

This is my one that’s currently in my HG rack. Gundam Tertium with the Seltsam Arms. I instantly liked this gunpla when I saw it in the anime.

This is for a display project I’m working on. I think it’ll look pretty good when completed but so far all I’ve done is cut out the pieces for the dragon. There are 50+ in case anyone is wondering. I’m probably going to apply these with double-sided tape seems like it will be the easiest way…I hope.

So I got a good chance to do a lot of work last night.

I finished up the Tertium there will be better a picture to follow.

I didn’t get much done on Valkylander But I did panel on the white sections of the wings that won’t be getting painted. It’s a little bit out of order but I know it will still look good when I’m done.

And last but not least I started my latest kit bash. So far I only have the base and the new weapons completed. That being said the optic sights on the heavy pistols might be a bit of overkill. But I like how they look, next up is the backpack and some customizing/detailing.

So I got a little bit more done tonight.

I finished up the basics for my custom Windam. Next up I’ll finalize the paint job in Photoshop, fine-tuned some small details and start the actual paint job in real life.

I also finished up my photoshoot for the Tertium Gundam.

I don’t normally get any Gunpla work done but today I decided to remove the safety nubs from the V fin of the Windam and test some poses.

Hey guys so I wasn’t really feeling doing too much work lately. So I’ve kind of been just goofing off but I was able to finally nail down a color scheme for my Windam and I did a few other small project pieces mostly just prep work with some small completions, mostly Captain Gundams weapon and head (the head was a test field for the rest of the body).

So I decided to do some cleaning and organizing today at my workstation. It definitely looks a lot better, but it does make me wonder as builders we always post what we’re working on however technically we’re always improving our workbenches /area as well, why don’t we ever post those?

So I got a good bit of work done this weekend on the The Windam however I didn’t really get anywhere on my other models. I did get a good chance to test out a new paint marker (gold metallic) made by testers, in fact it works so well I used it on the Windam.

So I got some more work done in both the assembly and some hand painting. As far as the main suit goes I just have to finish painting the helmet andthe backpack along with the shields. With any luck I will hammer out a solid plan for the shields in the next day or so and can start painting them as well as finish up final work on the helmet and backpack. But overall I really like how it’s turning out.

After my last post I decided I wouldn’t post midweek anymore however being as I’m stuck at home and have completed two projects I figured it was time to upload the final results.

Lovin both those trios!

Hey guys it’s Sunday so it’s time for an update.

So I completed my work on the HG IBO Gundam Hajiroboshi. I am not a huge fan of IBO kits but I like this one and I think it turned out really well.

I’m slowly making progress on my next trio The One Jam Band (rebuild). I’ve opted out of doing some of the dumber things that I did last time. Although I’m still debating on whether or not I’m going to fully repaint them.
I’m also working on a Savior Gundam. This is literally my favorite suit in the entire Seed franchise. I absolutely cannot wait to finish it.

And finally I finished the background for my next display. Considering I wasn’t quite sure how it would turn out I’m really happy with the results now I just need to start building the little guys to go with it and the risers.

Those look really good. I always look forward to seeing your updates. I’ve learned quite a bit just from viewing your wip.

If you ever have any questions feel free to message. I absolutely love to share any Gunpla knowledge I got.

So I wasn’t expecting it today but apparently I got mail… Kind of odd for Sunday but I’m not complaining.

Hey guys it’s Sunday so it’s time for an update.

So due to a small amount of artist block I had to put my petitgguy/Haro band on hold. So I decided to work on these guys some more.

So first up is the Savior Gundam. After a good bit of painting and even more tape I really think this one’s starting to look good. It still needs paneling but it’s definitely looking better than the first time I built it.

As I mentioned in my last post I was kind of surprised it was a mail day. But throughout the week I decided to work on that kit, pretty much 30 minutes a day until it was completed. Well I say 30 minutes it was more like 15 to 20 minutes after I got organized and packed everything up each time. But I got to admit it’s looking pretty good next up I start painting.

I forgot to mention both of these kits did not come with a peg hole for the stand so I measured and added my own. 2.9mm in case anyone was wondering.

Hey everybody, so it’s Monday and I forgot to post my update yesterday. So figured I’d post it today just because you know I wanted to get it out there.

So as you can see I am almost done with the savior I have a few more little details I want to fix but paneling is done and he looks really good. And I’ve gotten pretty far on the Zaku Warrior. However not shown in the pictures the fact that I forgot to do the beam weapon. it was buried under some stuff in my desk and I didn’t find it until I was cleaning up after painting.

So I finally finished him, I really love how this turned out the Savior has to be one of my favorite suits of all time. And to be completely honest he looks pretty legit next to the other ones from my seed collection I even made sure to leave enough room for my Zaku Warrior when it was complete.

This has to be my favorite picture, the unique angle combined with the pose just looks really good.

So I started a rather large project. I still have a long way to go but the basics are coming along pretty good. I plan to keep everybody informed as I go along but here’s what I have so far.

First up is a sand colored Ground Type Alto with the addition of some GBN guard frame parts and basic modifications I got the look I want. Which will be a great start to what I’m working on.

And then there’s this monstrosity, starting with the base of a PortaNova I then swapped out the shins with those from the Alto’s base and added some option parts. I then went through and added unused parts from past builds. Along with making some quick modifications to the helmet. Although I’m still looking into a couple options for modifying the flight pack.

Next up I’m going to be building and making some quick modifications to the subunits for these guys and working on my base and background pieces.
