    Re: Video Games

So I finally got my hands on a copy of Gundam Versus. I haven't played it yet, I am super excited to play it nonetheless. While I don't currently have a PlayStation Plus subscription, I fully intend to get on. For now though, I'll just do what little solo-play there is just to get my feet wet. If anyone here wants to friend me on the PlayStation Network, PM me and I will PM you back.

For anyone interested in playing Gundam Battle Operations 2. In the last update they added a English language option to the game.

Have fun it's a very good Gundam game even if the roster felt unbalanced in terms of representation, though if you plan on getting all the trophies I'd suggest getting doing online matches as soon as you get a PS Plus sub since the online community won't be around forever.

As for myself, I've started playing FFXV recently and it's really fun. The whole bromance through a roadtrip dynamic is really cool and fresh. The Kingdom Hearts-esque combat is enjoyable and I hope the rest of the game is as fun.

Well, Steam has a PC version of Valkyria Chronicles available. I've harped about this series before and I still highly recommend playing it.

After playing GVS for quite some time, I can see what you mean. I will say, I was not ready for the high learning curve that came with the game. That being said, I am getting better (been watching and reading some guides) and I have a few favorites listed: 1) Wing Zero, 2) Freedom, 3) Strike, 4) Delta Plus, 5) F91, RX-79(G) Gundam Ground Type.

Yeah, the lack of a story mode or anything to ease you into the gameplay was weird.

As for my mains they were: 1) God Gundam, 2) Gundam X2 Kai, and 3) Hot Scramble Gundam.

Picked up Titanfall 2 at my local GameStop for only $10. Man, it's take some time for me to once again get accustomed to FPS controls.

I fancied Titanfall. You'll have to let me know how it goes, I might pick it up later. I'm almost finished with Horizon Zero Dawn, picked it up on sale in the PNS store for Ł12.50 a few weeks ago and its an incredible game. The story that unfolds is very engaging. If you have a Playstation and have not played it yet I highly recommend it.
Currently working on an MG GAT-X102 Duel Assault Shroud, to add to the collection below. See my progress here.

Don't know why, but I've been in a CoD binge lately. Started playing the campaign for Advanced Warfare and I'm enjoying it so far. Definitely a rail shooter, but still very enjoyable, kinda like an action movie you keep coming back to. Same with Modern Warfare 3, actually. Fourth time I'm playing the campaign again.

I find CoD games, and FPS's in general, to be a guilty pleasure. Their gameplay is simple, but fun and engaging. Like you said, it's like watching an action flick you like.

TF2 has to be my favorite FPS in a long while, the MP is fun, the movement is great once you get real advanced at it and the game becomes the worlds quickest game of 'the floor is hotlava' and the campaign was surprisingly good as well IMO. Actually been getting the itch to go back to playing it again recently myself.

That said I've been Ace Combat 7 with most of my free time these days and it's been a great return to form on par with PS2 Trilogy. Only real complaints I have are, the MP is pretty lacking with only Deathmatch and Team deathmatch, and the plane list while not could use some work, a good chunk of it is taken up by flankers, the F-15J is pretty much just padding as well and I would have rather had either it or the C go and the staple of the series MTD/S return (Okay yeah granted it can equip other weapons but the ones I'd want are on the C, which also has the skin I want so the J is just kinda there), and the fact there are only ground attack focused craft are the Fullback and A-10 is kinda sad. Also the fact there's one Superplane and it's just an updated version of an old one is kinda sad as well. Especially seeing as there was a new Unique one in the campaign. Granted it was a drone but that didn't stop them from making it's grandfather the Falken playable in AC2 all the way though Infinity in most games.

Also got Gundam Breaker 3 Break Edition back in december and I've been enjoying it off and on as well.

Just finished the campaign on regular not too long ago, and yeah it's pretty good. I actually shed a tear at the end for BT. The gameplay is simple but incredibly fun. My favorite Titan weapons loadout has to either the Expedition or Ion loadout. For the time being, I'm going to stay away from MP until I get better at the gameplay.
