    Re: Video Games

IDK about Dragon's Dogma, but I do know it is getting a port later this year to the PS4 and Xbox one (I'm excited honestly haven't been this excited for a port or Remake at all since I miss it so much), next month or the month after I believe. Doubt GTA works since there's been a port out for the one since before the BC thing started.

    Re: Video Games

Oh. That's good. I have the fancy ultimate edition and was playing it before I got my xboxone so I never ended up finishing it. Forget where I am in it. Kinda just screwin' about last I remember. Hope it lets me keep my old save files so I can pick up where I left off.

    Re: Video Games

I don't think it will since it's a full port and not just backwards compatible, I've heard BC games can use your 360 saves on the cloud, IDK about ports. I remember that Dark Arisen wouldn't use vanilla Dragon's dogma saves if I remember right.

Oh wait do you mean it is BC, then it should maybe IDK should let you then.

Either way though it is fun, even early on. When you see a Griffin or something in the distance and get the ill-conceived notion to go after it despite being like...level 10. Can't wait for the PS4 version though.

    I know I need it.

This was the one thing I still wanted to see happen and I got it. I hope when they say next year they mean early next year.

Got some new Screens as well. Namely of the F-2A and F-35C which have been announced today as well. Going to just link to them since there's more than a few screens. Also has gameplay.

Outlast 1 and the DLC for it are free for today and tomorrow if anybody wants them. Considering next month is October, that sorta means you gotta yourself a Halloween game ready for you if you haven't played it yet.

    Re: Video Games

So, a bit late but I played the Battlefront 2 beta. I'm going to speak about the actual gameplay and visuals first, the rubbish loot cancer after.

Game looks, sounds and plays great. Character models, blasters, effects, enviroments and vehicles look outstanding and super movie accurate. Sounds are spot on as well. Voice acting is supreme. Music, what little plays is great. (It's Star Wars, come on).
Gunplay is great too. The hit detection and damage model are overhauled from the first Dicefront and feel great. Now blasters have set ranges where they are effective, no E-11 sniping across the map anymore. TTK is pretty high but not too high. This means even if someone sneaks on you, you have the chance to retaliate and Overall accuracy is more important than rate of fire outside of point blank ranges. Gunfights are more skill based, which is good. Vehicle controls are a bit wonky, mostly from being too sensitive. Massive improvement form the thrash that was Dicefront 1. Heroes aren't as disgustingly OP as they used to, but still strong. Still can be exploited via the Battle Point system.

Now, the lootcrates and the fact that ALL of the progression is tied to these rng boxes is absolutely unforgivable. Even for a free to play mobile game this type of economy is shit, never mind a full priced AAA game. And you can buy them with cash.

If all you got from the was skins or other customization items, it would be crappy but somewhat acceptable. The fact that all the blasters, star cards and other equipment are locked behind those, unless you grind for Scrap, currency, which you can only get from the damn boxes, is absolutely unacceptable. Oh, and you can get ridiculous buffs from those Star Cards. PAY TO WIN. F*** EM.

On a more positive note, I bought Saints Row 4 with all of it's DLC when it was on sale on Steam. And quite frankly, the game is absolutely amazing. It's insane, vulgar, vile, funny, witty and superfun. Best Soundtrack, Best characters and best superpowers.
