Game looks, sounds and plays great. Character models, blasters, effects, enviroments and vehicles look outstanding and super movie accurate. Sounds are spot on as well. Voice acting is supreme. Music, what little plays is great. (It's Star Wars, come on).
Gunplay is great too. The hit detection and damage model are overhauled from the first Dicefront and feel great. Now blasters have set ranges where they are effective, no E-11 sniping across the map anymore. TTK is pretty high but not too high. This means even if someone sneaks on you, you have the chance to retaliate and Overall accuracy is more important than rate of fire outside of point blank ranges. Gunfights are more skill based, which is good. Vehicle controls are a bit wonky, mostly from being too sensitive. Massive improvement form the thrash that was Dicefront 1. Heroes aren't as disgustingly OP as they used to, but still strong. Still can be exploited via the Battle Point system.

Now, the lootcrates and the fact that ALL of the progression is tied to these rng boxes is absolutely unforgivable. Even for a free to play mobile game this type of economy is shit, never mind a full priced AAA game. And you can buy them with cash.

If all you got from the was skins or other customization items, it would be crappy but somewhat acceptable. The fact that all the blasters, star cards and other equipment are locked behind those, unless you grind for Scrap, currency, which you can only get from the damn boxes, is absolutely unacceptable. Oh, and you can get ridiculous buffs from those Star Cards. PAY TO WIN. F*** EM.

On a more positive note, I bought Saints Row 4 with all of it's DLC when it was on sale on Steam. And quite frankly, the game is absolutely amazing. It's insane, vulgar, vile, funny, witty and superfun. Best Soundtrack, Best characters and best superpowers.

    1000001/100001 will enter simulation again.
I performed a bit of digging, and I found this video that addresses Battlefront II's loot boxes:

"You see, there's no need to wonder where your god is. Because he's right here! And he's fresh out of mercy!"
    -Kirito (SAO Abridged)

"Well, what good is being a god if you can't smite some people?"
    - Epsilon Church

Dude I love the Saints Row franchise. To me it's better than GTA in some ways. My favorite part of SR4 is the who cut scene when you get the power armor and everything that follows. Especially the part were Stan Bush's The Touch is playing. I laughed so freaking hard during that.
