See I knew the Federation were the Bad guys all along! Those are U.N. colors. . Your pattern is really nice and crisp.

I think he's comparing the federation to the UN, but I'm unsure what his comparison is based on.

Last snap of the year. Hopefully next year will be more finished build than snapping... but i'm not holding my breath lol

MG Dom. I was pleasantly surprised at all the weapons this comes with!

The mg Dom is a decent kit for it's age.

The Dom looks such a great canvas for scribing panel lines.

    Re: Squee's Workbench

I won't hijack Squees thread much, but the UN remark is because of what they have become. The UN is a far cry from what they were and or what they were meant to be. When you see the little Baby Blue helmets in a combat zone, all you can do is laugh. They are so over burdened with rules and regulations from every one who has nothing to do with the reason they are "Where ever they are at the moment" that they are kind of a joke force. Like the Federation. They were way behind Zeon in regards to MS tech and they held themselves back with regulations and "Rules" that they were almost beaten by Zeon. Plus the UN is at this point in time more concerned with how they look to each other than actually doing anything of real value or substance.

    (Stepping off of soap box)

That MG Dom is such a magnificent beast! Rockpopandchips is correct it is a scribers paradise. A nice big blank canvas.

Is that a resin MegaZord in the back ground? It looks like a Dragon neck with something over its head.

Its a 3d printed Watcher from Horizon Zero Dawn. One of the mecha designers for it put up the files for 3d printing.

That is cool looking, all except for one thing. All that power and evilness, but little tiny feet. "Look at me! I'm a powerful Dino looking Dragon monster! just don't strep on my little toes..." You could trip it up with a ball of string. LOL

Finally got around to working on this again. RL nonsense and Zelda have been draining my time. Tweaked the colors, and redid the shield. I am quite happy with it. I do have to work on my placement a bit more but i can always touch up.

The shield does look better, but if I am being honest I cannot stop staring at the big "white" splotch on the bottom. It does not blend well with the rest of the pattern.

    Re: Squee's Workbench

You're the second person to mention that part being to prominent. I need to see if it will work in my favor for when i apply the few decals i plan to apply. After the weather and a few other things are done to the kit, it will probably be less noticeable. I have another spot on the shield that i want to touch up, so i might add another color spot in the middle of it to make it smaller.

    Edit* Less white lol
