Yea, that blowback is more due to a feline interference than anything else lmao

If you take off the front barrel its like a heavy bazooka too.

Edit* Started working on the base, but i ran out of foam... Just another few inches.

    Re: Squee's Workbench

Why is 3rd party plastic so bad for the GH nippers? If they are as sharp as they say shouldn't they still cut with out issue? I have been looking at the "Ultimate God Hand" nippers for a while wondering if they are worth the price.

Another tool question. The red toothbrush in the back, is that actually a small buffer for polishing?

    Re: Squee's Workbench

The red thing is a Mr. Polisher thing, basically a electric toothbrush with a flat head for sticky sanding pads lol

The godhands are sharp, but they're are known to shatter easily, especially at the tip. 3rd party plastic tends to be tougher/brittle so there's a greater chance of this happening. The ones i got don't even have pointy tips, they've started squaring them off due to this issue.

    Re: Squee's Workbench

Good tip to know. Thanks. I normally nip the part with my Tamiya nippers, then go in close with a super sharp set whose name escapes me right now. But I still will get a big old white spot of plastic stress marks. I was told that GH don't do that as much if at all, so I still want to give them a try. But the $$

    Re: Squee's Workbench

I got these from USAGundamstore. $45. I gotta say though, i find them to be the same sharpness at my GP nippers. They just feel nicer handle and in the tension. There are a few codes online to knock off 10%. Funny thing is, i ordered the red handled ones because the ultimate ones were out of stock. They then restocked a few hrs later. I emailed the store and asked to be charged for the difference/upgrade them, and he did it for free! Awesome place to buy from.

In other news i was looking at the taobao sales going on for 11/11 right now, and my friend linked the blue destiny conversion i bought from dreamcast in a chat. I remembered i have the old one i bought from E2046 in a box. I never plan on working on that one again, but figured, lets see how the shoulders look on this kit. I really like it but they will need some work!

See if you can stack discount. Add in "Reddit10Now" after.

@Zaku, why would you want to do all that to make it cannon fodder? I forgot his name, but he already did a zeon conversion sniper.

    Re: Squee's Workbench

Sweet thanks I will try that.

Those shoulder look cool. I like them way better than the boring ones that came with the kit.

    Re: Squee's Workbench

Yea i don't mind the originals but i really want this to be as unique as i can get it

Added some more layers of foam, and did some placement on the trees. They look terrible out of the box, and will need a bunch of work.

    Re: Squee's Workbench

Did you build that up with spray fome? That is what it looks like under the white.

And ya I have a bunch of stuff from The same company and you are right they are flat and crappy OOB but once you shape them and add foliage they actually look really nice. You just have to do a bit of work to get them there.
