I've never built a Supernova kit, but I keep hearing about them. That WZC looks amazing!

I'm not sure but, would it really be a "bootleg"? Seeing as they use the actual Bandai Gundam name like "Wing Zero Gundam" and yours has an "Endless Waltz" base, wouldn't that mean that they have the blessing of Bandai? If not wouldn't Bandai go after them?

Never mind, I just found an article about how Bandai is going after them and their distributors.

Yea they changed the "company" name yet again. Model Heart Super Nova. I think it helps delay legal action.

Snapped this MechatroCHUNK at work this week. 1/35 scale, i like that it comes with an adult pilot instead of the middle school kids that come with the wego kits.

Resculpted the joints on this little ma.k kit. Sprayed the first color, turquoise metallic.. it's weird but i like it lol

Waiting on some supplies for my the little guy so he's on hold. Last night i got to try out this evo surfacer i picked up awhile back. Usually i use a can primer if i'm going to be doing rust, but this stuff is so much nicer. I have to touch up some of the seams on the limbs still. I have to still plan out how i'm going to wire up everything, if i want to keep it internal or have it powered via a base.

Love it, would like to do one of my future car kits that colour. Is it acrylic? And the finish on the primer is silky smooth, what airbrush do you use currently? Can't wait to see more of these ma.k kits, they are pretty cool looking.

I mainly use my Iwata HP-CH. The paint is lacquer based. Sadly this project isn't turning out well. I poured my planned resin last night, and there are some major issues. I don't know if i can salvage it anymore but i have to see if i can at least get the resin block i poured out of the clear case.

    Re: Squee's WB

My Polar Bear suit showed up on Saturday. Started assembling it. Started planning out how i want to make the scene. Think hobbits hiding from the ringwraiths in LOTR's.

I have to chop up and sculpt new joints to really emphasize the fear the dude has. Might try sculpting a scared face as well.

    Re: Squee's WB

Are you planning on starting work on your shiny new MechaGodzilla in the near future by any chance, Squee? Or is it just a "I'll get to it when I get to it" sort of kit for you?
Apologies in advance, if this comes across as being pushy and/or rude; it's not my intention; I'm just really excited about and looking forward to seeing your work on the MechaGodzilla.

    Re: Squee's WB

    Prime and reprime.

I still have to plan out how i'm going to stick the chip in the torso and remove the huge seam, but i'm going to start doing some salt chipping on the limbs and plates, as well as work on the polar bear suits joint covers.

Put the polar bear together. Just have to adjust some limbs, fix a few seam spots and then i can start sculpting the joints.
