    Attempting Youtube Review

    Hey all!

Decided to try something new recently. I decided to try doing Gunpla on Youtube! So for my first video...I unboxed the P-Bandai HGUC Woundwort. Would definitely appreciate feedbacks

To be honest I'm getting a bit tired of "Unboxing" videos, there are 5 million of them. Very rarely does anyone do a "Building" video. I don't mean to be mean or anything, but lets be straight here, we all know what is in the box. Directions, runners, and for the most part stickers. In the case of P-Bandai you get waterslides. It's not a big "What's in the Box Man!!" but this is just my opinion, so light grain of salt here.

While I tend to agree with gm, I actually liked it compared to many unboxings because you did a good job of showing everything. The number of times I've looked at unboxings for a specific detail only to find it's not there or glossed over so quick you can't even pause the vid to take a look. It would probably become harder if you start doing some of the bigger kits with a lot more runners, but all in all I liked it, you come across well in it. Builds are good, but you need to get good at time-lapse. These seem to be the most successful. Well I think so.

    Attempting Youtube Review

These are all good stuffs GM and Mark! In regards to your comment Mark, I never thought of doing a build video! Time-lapsed build is something Iíve seen a few times but overall I like the idea so I may incorporate that. I still gotta build the Woundwort so your idea is something I highly value.

In the future how about from the beginning to the end? So unbox + time-lapse build + review?

While i agree with monkey about tired of seeing reviews, you do have access to alot of kits people don't order easily so i think if you focused on p bandai stuff, you could probably gain a following specifically for that.

That would be a rather long video. But a good idea. Do you realize just how many "Unboxing" videos never come back with a finished kit! "Hay here is a kit I got and here is the stuff in the box...by!" Never to be seen again. I think it would be cool even if you just do a down a dirty OOB build to show the range of motion, the gimmicks, and a size comparison, so we who don't have the kit can at least see just how big (or like you said how small) a kit really is, and what not. Sort of a "Part 2" of the unboxing.
Like you I thought the Woundwort was a larger kit. Just how small is it? (See a good starting point)

Mm if I remember, it was about the size of a HGUC F91/Victory/V2. It was really small lol.

Iím not expecting to be famous or a big name Youtuber lol but these are some ideas Iím gonna have to ponder on. But thanks all! I may try the time lapse with a review of Woundwort and then figure out where else I can go from there with all these.
