    Full PE parts

    For the Sinanju and Sazabi....

    These things.

Has any one used them or any feedback on using them?

    Cheers Brian.

I have the full set of PE parts for this kit. I have not started it yet, but the PE are really nice and thick. A lot better than I thought they would be. I have the kit you are looking at as well as the full frame PE parts for the Sazabi. I just wish they made a full set for the Sinaju as well. But both kits are really nice.

Cheers I have Sinanju and Sazabi both just snapped together and thinking of getting ape set for both as winter projects. I have not used that many PE parts so a bit nervous about using this large amount on one kit. Have you seen and videos on them used, I found a GM sniper video but nothing else yet. I will keep looking.

Just a tip for what I did to get over the fear of F**king up a good kit with PE. I bought Metal earth gundam kit.

    I have a ZAKU and a Z-GOK, they even have a Barbatos!
I also got a couple super cheap sets of random PE sets (doesn't really matter what they are to) and just practiced bending them and seeing what they can and can not handle.
I also made my own PE bender so I can bend them smoothly.

I wasn’t going to spend $40 + on a piece of metal to bend PE parts.
A few scraps of plexiglass and I had my own PE tool that I can see through and bend parts properly.

I ended up painting the edge red so I could judge the edges better.

Cheers just seen that video, an interesting way to build I thought but the parts look good.

The metal earth kits is a great idea, I have made a slave one kit but I think I might get a few more.

    Cheers.

Well if I get the PE sets I will make one of those, do you fancy posting some measurements up?

    Cheers

Good luck brother, the only thing holding us back is lack of practice. F**K up the scraps, so the real thing is good to go. Next stop GBCW!

I can do better. I have to finish the write up, but I have a blog about "Tools on a budget" and this as well as home made scribes and chisels are next up for the blog. The link in in my signature. I will give you a heads up when I have this up. Should be by the end of the week. I will go over a step by step of the build.

    Re: Full PE parts

The set you linked in the original post doesn't have any PE parts. They're just metal parts. The most you need for them are drill bits and glue really. I would also suggest ordering them from Taobao. Ebay prices are double to triple the real costs.

I have a set of PE parts for my MG Sinanju. And a set of metal detail parts as well. My biggest issue, I cannot decide on if I want to paint my PE parts or not.

Rockpopandchips: Sorry I did not get a chance to get my update up this weekend. Dad got out of the Hospital and is now in a rehab facility. He had blood clots, 1 in his right lung, and 1 in his left leg. So I was a bit busy.

Blog is all updated! Now you have the Photo Etch bender that I built.
