    Re: Gundam Narrative

AMC and Cinemark were selling tickets for Gundam Narrative more than a week before Fathom Events posted locations. Honestly, Fathom hasn't done a very good job. They say that a theater 15 minutes from my place me will be playing it but when I click the link it shows me an AMC theater nearly 10 miles away.

I use Fandango pretty exclusively. For this, I just searched for "Gundam" and it brought it right up.

My local theater finally added this to their lineup! Ticket preorders are really expensive, though, so I must just go the night of and hope for the best. The preorder surcharge is at least $3-4 plus tax!

?? I got mine a couple weeks ago from the theater itself and there was no up charge for per-ordered tickets. That's messed up. All said and done it was only $15.26 total.

Mine's around $16-17 after charges. They charge $12-13 at the desk.

Just got my ticket. Paid $14.70 for it through Fandango.

A little bit late but Sunrise put the ENG dub version of the initial 20 something minutes of Narrative on their YT channel for anyone interested.

I saw this earlier this morning; I'm now even more excited for next week's premiere of Gundam Narrative as the dub sounds really good.

I know right!! The 19th can't come fast enough. I read that the first 50 something people to each showing get a "commemorative Poster" or something like that. I will be there early and waiting. Ticket in hand. (well on the phone but same thing)

    Re: Gundam Narrative

Well I just got home a little while ago from watching Gundam Narrative!
I liked it, the story felt a bit rushed at points and I did get a bit tired of hearing the same lines about heaven and being a damn bird.
By the end of it all I could hear was “Dear God make me a bird, so I can fly far, far far away.”
Other than that little stuff I thought it was a good opening to a new series.
I did like how they kind of did the reverse of most Gundam shows. Where they start with a Gundam who is at its weakest and builds up over time to become the Great “so and so” Gundam. This one they started out with the big guns. I won’t say much more for those who have not seen it but the final version kind of got taken apart really quickly.

So anyone else see it and what were your thoughts on it?

I liked it as well. What I liked about it was how it dealt with the aftermath and ramifications of Psyco-Frame technology. It's clear that this technology is too much for humans of the Universal Century to handle. Now I can see why the Federation moved from psycommu tech to the Bio-computer of F91.

    Re: Gundam Narrative

I don’t think we have seen the last of the psycho-frames. Remember the last shot in the movie 01 Was still assembled. Although not sure how I felt about just throwing a bunch of psycho frame bits to save the day, was sort of a WTF? Really?
