Question, Why was the Nemo's Cannon put in the RE Guncannon Detector?

I JUST found this out. Bandai what the heck...

    It just seems so strange.

To clarify for some. The Nemo Desert color is a P-Bandai kit. This mobile suit was shown in Gundam Unicorn with a large cannon. Shown here:

But, I guess Bandai decided not to include the cannon with the P-Bandai Desert color Nemo... But to instead include it with the RE1/100 Guncannon Detector. Which I guess cant even hold the thing properly...

    This is just weird

It seems to be able to hold it just fine. As for why it has it, most likely it's yet another case in Bandai's, "hey buy this thing so you get an accessory for this other thing" mentality.

I've actually never seen one be able to hold it yet. I saw a reviewer try to use it but it looked like he was having trouble with it.

    Yeah it really confused me.

And I am a little disappointed they did this. As when I am ready to order my next batch of kits I wanted to get the Nemo, RX-79 (G), and GM Sniper.
I really like the Nemo kit But its has the most pathetic accessories. Nothing but a flimsy shield and beam rifle...

This gun would have been cool to have apart of the Nemo kit. Or at-least in ONE of the Nemo kits. I mean, I guess they have 3 version of the dam thing. "MG Nemo, MG Unicorn Nemo, MG Desert Nemo"

Re: Question, Why was the Nemo's Cannon put in the RE Guncannon Detector?

Well, I don't remember Nemo using anything else in Zeta besides the beam rifle/beam sabers, and in 2006 the Unicorn version wasn't out yet, so poor Nemo got shafted in accessories. But, that is deflected in the cost, being on the lower end of the MG price spectrum. And the blandness can give ideas for various mods.

Damn, I need to get another Nemo myself.........

Re: Question, Why was the Nemo's Cannon put in the RE Guncannon Detector?

Yeah but the lack in accessories can also make it one of the more expensive kits...

I mean If you are LUCKY you will still need to buy a whole other kit to have the accessories you want. If you are not lucky "like myself" you will need TWO whole other kits to fill it out.

One to replace that pathetic shield and another to replace the weapon. The GM sniper kit and RX-79 (G) do have spare weapons. But none of the spares are things I would want to use on the Nemo. And there are no spare shields. I said it before, I think what I will do is buy the HG Thunderbolt FA Gundam. And make my own mounts for the 4 included shield for my other Fedy MS's.

But I would still need at-least 1 more kit for a weapon for the Nemo.
