    AGundamGuy's Completed Works

Hey everyone, I have posted in a bit but I have recently just started building Gunpla and this is my first kit ever! Actually it is my first miniature ever. Awhile back I posted a thread asking for tips and advice on this particular kit and with a lot of help I was able to come up with something I am proud of. Here it is. I welcome any further critique or advice as I am new and want to learn and get better and perfect my craft!

Kit: Gundam Barbatos Full Mechanics 1/100

Red and Blue Color Parts hand painted, Inner frame fully hand painted and detailed, Panel Line, Seem line removal and nub mark removal, Sanding and Matte top coat spray.

    Products used

Tamiya Acrylic Paint: Blue, Red, Gold Leaf, Gunmetal, Copper
    Valero Panel Line Wash
    Tamiya Extra thin cement

Barbatos is my favorite kit. Yours look very nice! I think you should paint the sword with some metallic, if you like.

I was considering that or maybe putting a gloss coat on the weapons.

This sword I hand painted without priming. It looks like weathered metal.

I will be the first to tell you that I'm not a very big fan of the IBO, but that aside. Very nice work on your kit. The lines look crisp and clean, the top coat is even and smooth. And great color separation. Nice clean kit overall. Great job!

List of things to do today. 1. Get a sword. 2. Name it Kindness. 3 Kill people with Kindness.
