    HGUC Gyan Johnny Ridden Custom

Hello! I don't have many kits I am proud of, and I am still working on a light box, but these are some photos I took of a kit I took to a competition and won a MG Sinanju Stein with. I used Alclad chrome and transparnt colors over that for most of it. The rest was with Model Master metalizers and few testors for brushing. The decals I bought off Ebay and I think they were some crappy chinese kind because I think they look horrible.

I used 2 R-1 Zaku's for the arms, and one of the Zaku's backpack. Bazooka from a Dom Tropen. Leg bits were extra parts from a thruster pack. Lots of putty went into that. Please enjoy and feel free to rip me a new one

Then some pics I took when I was working on it. Kinda showcases the body some more

Not sure why you want bad comments you flippin WON! That’s cool as hell. Nice paint work as well nice and smooth. The only thing I don’t like, and it is purely personal opinion. I really don’t like that head. I actually don’t like the whole suit it comes from. It just reminds me of a bad chess piece.

I appriciate it. I ubdunderstand erstand not liking a units look, as I hate the Gelgoog's design. I did forget to mention and you kinda pointed it out, the head is a custom one from the Vulnerable Pod pack. This one has a lager + visor and extra details.

That is the hard part of being a Judge in a model show, you have to put how you personally feel about a kit to the side and look at how it was done, not what it is. And I would have to slightly agree with you about the Gelgoog, it is kind of a boring suit for being a ZEION suit who are well know for curves and edgy designs.

I can see that. I'd love to be a judge, but I think I have as much fun participating. I did a 30 day build challenge. I technically missed the signup becuase the ran out of spots 4 mins before I showed up, but I did the challenge anyway. It was a Gyancelot and it looks okay.... about as good as this one which is meh compaired to some fo yoyr guys stuff.

Build an alpha light box. Not sure if it is doing well. Seems like it's not doing the lighting well but i took a photo of him off the base in it. I just put magnets in his feet when I built him so he pops on and off the satellite with ease.

I don't often comment on model's here (as I don't really build my self) but I really like it as a fan of the Gyan and Johnny ridden both. Also the FA-78 painted Gundam head in his hand is a nice touch and call out to the one story where he fought one at A Boa Qu.

Why donít you try making pictures using natural light? Just make a screen opposite a window.
