    My first Gunpla : F91

    Hello everyone,

I present you my first Gunpla, the F91.
I bought it at a model show and became a fan.
I decided to paint him and make him a maintenance bay.

    See you soon

Welcome to the madness! Nice work on the bay, and the frame. If you get a chance, post some completed shots of everything. Welcome aboard

The silver kind of reminds me of the Vigna Ghina suits

Looks nice. What are those blades in the shoulders? They are not part of the kit, right?

Those "blades" are actually heat sinks. You see, when the F-91 activates its Bio-Computer, it generates an excessive amount of heat. To compensate for this, the Gundam F91 has a lot cooling ducts and heat sinks to reduce the heat. However, when the computer is working extremely hard (to the point that the ducts and the sinks can be overtaxed), the F91 can also dissipate heat by physically shedding layers of its own metal armor. This effect produces after-images made microscopic metal particles.

Did you accidentally touch the paint when it was still wet on the chest? I can see some inconsistency in the finish there.

The bay ends with functional leds and technicians almost all in place.

0_0 That base is really great! And it is fully scratch built. Great work.
