HGUC Guncannon Revive – my best one so far!

I've always wanted to build clean cut no weathering gloss model. this might be one.

    Highlights:
    — the nicest thing about the model that separates from the HG Origin counterparts is the gaps. for example, the are big gaps between the left right front skirts and the middle one. the gaps minimize paint chipping between parts.
    — just like hand brushing, airbrushing is very similar: one thin coat at a time rather than thick all covering coats.
    — the grey parts are not primed. Straight up spraying Mr. Color steel (28)
    — the red parts are primed using black surfacer 1500 and pre-shaded using Mr. Color off white (69)
    — panel lines are highlighted using Citadel Nuln Oil and cleaned using Vallejo airbrush cleaner.
    — "412" decal on the chest was a spare decal from Tamiya panzer models.

That's is very nice. Looks like a great kit, nice work.

If I was being over critical, next time you might want to thin your paint more and use even lighter coat or a light sand between coats as I can see a little ruff patch here there, o we critical of me but gloss finish is hard to pull off and you have done a good job.

thank you for your critique because I feel the same way. probably the rough spots are the result of white pre-shading.

I mix the paint in the bottle: I filled the bottle to the brim with mr hobby leveling thinner and mix it that way. please advise!
