    Mr.JQ's "Completed" builds

OK gus wanted to share some "Finished" work, I always have the urge to go back and do more, so not all my kits are going to show up here right away.

For now I present: The Tallgeese

Pretty straight forward build with a mild variation in color scheme. No panel, or decals on this one, and the dober gun is still left to be finished.

Would love to hear some feedback! Thanks for checking out my builds, I'll add more as time and work allows.

    Pg Rx-78-2

Had this kit since 2008, finally got around to painting it in 2014. It started with the core fighter, I saw someone's work on it and was really inspired, which then grew into me re-doing the entire kit lol. Used non stock LEDs, And they are powered by a usb cord.

Thanks! Yea not a fan of a ms with yellow, so pretty much any kit I do, will have it replaced with gold or a different color.

That paint job on the cloth is amazing!

If you want a light box you can make one for just a few bucks at Home Depot. That's what I did. Just some PVC pipe I have 1/2 inch and a couple corner connectors. Then I bought a white sheet and some poster board, the white sheet goes around the box and a couple lights shine through and it defuses the light. The poster board is so I have something to put the Gundam on, you can have what ever color you want. Black, Blue what ever. Then when I'm done it comes apart and i store it in an extra folding chair bag. I made mine big enough that I can go from 1/144 HG up the my 1/60 PGs.

List of things to do today. 1. Get a sword. 2. Name it Kindness. 3 Kill people with Kindness.

    Tyvm!

Yea I'm actually got a plan for a lightbox for my Mg and smaller, but my Pg won't fit.

I'm building display cubes out of dollar store picture/document frames. I've only built one so far, but I was thinking of doing the same thing, lining it with paper and leaving the front open for a booth.

That will work, just remember that main part of the light box is at least three separate light sources. But I like the picture frame idea that is good for the smaller kits, I would just take the glass out so there would not be any refection shine.
