So we've got a thread dedicated to planes, and a thread all about automobiles, I've decided to start a thread that deals exclusively with trains. I'll start off by posting this video that was made by Union Pacific in 1959:

As a side note, the Union Pacific Railroad is in the process of restoring one of these behemoths.

This is the Santa Fe 3751, built in 1927 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works. Throughout the 30's through the 50's, it pulled the Santa Fe's most prestigious passenger trains from Chicago to Los Angeles until diesel took over. Today, it is owned and operated by the San Bernardino Historical Rail Society, and occasionally runs special excursions with this locomotive.
