    Gobbla gundams

Hi all. This is my first fully painted HG 1/144 Verde Buster Gundam. I painted it by hand with Tamya acrylics using custom color scheme. This kit had no decals, so I made some hand painted stuff instead.

And here is 1/144 RG Shinanju. I made just minor paintings on pipes and guns.

Interesting color scheme for the buster.
"Pssssssst...Hey you...yeah you...No, THE OTHER you, yeah, YOU, see that person sitting next to you...yeah, that one right there, light them on fire."

    "Cover me, I'm going stupid."

"I've seen Hockey games where boxing breaks out, I want to go to a boxing match and watch Hockey break out."

"My Gunpla work style is best described as the Hold my Beer and Watch This method."

Thanks, I used gold gundam marker for symbols. This is my first painting work. The kits I made before, I just assembled them out of box.

Here's my new kit - Barbatos "El Diablo". Made it from HG Barbatos Lupus, painted by hand in custom color scheme. I initially wanted to make it solid black with multiple black layers. But the first layer without primer gave very interesting "burnt" effect. I decided to leave it as it is. Also put some weathering on red elements by a very well thinned black paint. I made two "plasma elbow knives" from the scrap plastic.

I like that barbatos, very unique and interesting look.

Did you use a pastel or dry brush to achieve that weathered look?

Also, I would recommend always priming if you are going to red. Red is the most difficult color to paint to make an even, uniform coat.

Ooh that looks cool. I hand paint some kits too. Working in an MG gelgoog Jager conversion kit.

Thanks. On the black parts it is just one layer of thinned black paint on white plastic. No pastel, no drybrush. On the red parts I put couple of layers of red acryl and on top some black drybrush.

What do you use for priming?
