That's kind of an understatement. Some of the experiments Japan did in WWII go well beyond that.

I know service numbers don't work like that but can anyone catch why it's like that?

Correct. I saw the chance and I took it. Besides, we're in giant mechs, I think we can skirt official numbers a bit.

I figure Mott's would be whatever Shepard's birthday was.

Nah. Mostly because I have no clue when his birthday would be. :P

    I'll go with 142 21 701 following that format.

It's not like it's gonna come up unless someone wants it to. It was just to show Nambra that Xastur might be high but he's still competent. And really, he's only doing this to piss Kulu off. Call it his way of assuring his twin that he's alright. It's just one of those things that makes sense to those two.

Re: Mobile Suit Gundam: The First Colony Discussion Thread

I'm gonna touch on that as to why it's still a no go actually. But for the most part the military level limbs can only store certain weapons, so Kal will have some options just not many good ones. Especially since I'll be benching him for a bit. He'll still be used and come back but I'm playing enough characters some of them can go do offscreen shit.

Plus you know, he's got that whole pregnant girlfriend thing to handle what with his coming back. A lot will be on his plate that I really don't feel like RPing if I have to be honest.

Yeah Kal has allot on his plate. Hell everyone does.

Also yay I get to use healey's bionics expertise. Yeah that's her field really medical engineering of prosthetic, while she's a qualified neurologist and has general medical training she's more in the replacing parts than repairing them field or was going to be. It's how she programs MS OS, like she would for fake bodyparts and it works somewhat well.

Yes my friend, and he is just getting started. It's all good. By the next post he will have what he needs and he can move on.

Re: Mobile Suit Gundam: The First Colony Discussion Thread

This trip back hasn't been hours. It's been an hour at best. The Grey Phantom might be pushing it, but it's not exploding in any sections.

Re: Mobile Suit Gundam: The First Colony Discussion Thread

If you are referring to my comment about the guy screaming for "What seemed like hours" I know the trip will actually only take like 45 minutes or so. That was meant as a metaphor, it just felt like hours to him.

If I remember right a few posts ago Kal said something like we would be at the colonies in like 20 minutes. But just because we arrive does not mean Jack has to stop. He is in the back of the lowest Brig you have on the ship.

Re: Mobile Suit Gundam: The First Colony Discussion Thread

I'm just saying, kinda doing some stall posts so we have some things done and introduced while Keni's away.

Do require him to further the RP. Frankly, I introduced the whole compression suit and gene gel on a whim as a way to make sure everyone was healed up as much as they could be before I get into the start of the debrief, then I'll do some long and vague post about Kal, Xastur, and Shima explaining what happened, then three month time skip. At which point people can do some posts of what occurred during the three months. It'll be explained better in the RP.

Works for me. That said if there's time between/before debrief stuff when we arrive, would it be cool if I had that conversation with Mott, healey and her mom about Project Victory then? Would work better before a timeskip of that time since it'll work into things he went though/is going though after it. That aside I'm cool with it.
