If you want to paint the inner frame, primer it 1st before you paint it.

    Re: Beginner Gundam collection

OK I will be the asshat who asks the question that has been banging around my head since I saw this build. Are you going to paint the thrusters!?? The build looks so nice and clean then those unpainted grey thruster jump out and scream at me. "Paint us please!!!"

If not not a big thing, it was the only thing that jumped out at me when I was looking at it.
And if they are in fact painted. OOPS my bad they just don't stand out as shiny and nice as the rest of the suit. I don't know they just need a bit of shine to them to match the rest of the beautiful shinny paint job you did.

You are absolutely right for the second part, the thrusters are painted but I used Tamiya acrylic silver. I don't know why but I always use mr color paints because I like the shinyness and the colors are sharp.

I heard lots of good things of tamiya and I had to try and I did so with the thrusters. And the results are actually not bad, but much in contrast with the mr metal finish. The tamiya is more brittle and if you dont do a quick clear coat on it, you can get it easily scratched.

I will surely do a repaint for the thrusters in the near future.

    Good thing you noticed

The dynamic trio now..I really2 hope bandai will release a 2.0 for strike freedom and justice. Why ohh why its taking bandai soo long, because we already have a 2.0 freedom and justice..
