    Hexa gear

Not Gundam but a new line of toys from Kotobukiya using a Hex system from Frame Arms.

Anyone else keeping an eye on these? Some pretty slick mecha designs and even though I think they're smaller than Gundam I have to wonder if they could be customized for HG kits.

Dammit, I am now. That motorcycle/beast thing looks great.

And I can't be the only one who thought of Victory Gundam when I read "Hexa Gear" in the post title.

The quad reminds me of the Mongoose from Halo.

I can't even find 'em on HLJ. Is there some other transliterated English name for them? Or am I just too tired?

    Re: Hexa gear

I couldn't find them on HLJ either. I don't think there's another name. Info has been sparse from Kotobukiya. There was a blitz of info at the end of last year around Aug-Oct then nothing really until the show last weekend. I thought I saw something on their site when Google translated the pages that hinted at the release being in August.

My biggest worry is the retail. The Koto kits are already so expensive compared to Gundam and Robot Spirits figures are $60+ each. Toys like this may end up having a pretty high price tag.

Yeah, I hear that. That motobeast whatever? I'm betting 8000 yen MSRP.

glad to see it wasn't just me. I have been looking all over the place for them myself. But I fear that ASH74 is correct, they are going to be pricey.

Wow not as bad as I thought they would be. Very affordable.

I agree. I was expecting double for some reason. These are a bit more attainable.
