Re: [RP] Mobile Suit Gundam: Hostile Frontiers

"Well you'll be attacking a Martian city I can't promise a counter attack that'll take out whom you need from them during the fight, but we can arrange for some of your...compatriots to vanish. I have a special forces squad that just made it to the planet recently Shall serve a fitting test." the Chancellor said, one could almost hear a smile, though there wasn't actually one one his face. "I look forward to seeing you plans for this. Keep me posted."

"It is a pleasure doing business with you Sir. I will have plans sent to you. Do we have a time frame of when this needs to be set off? And are civilian casualties acceptable. These earth groups tend to go a bit heavy on the random bomb side, and we will need at least a few days to organize this.

Re: [RP] Mobile Suit Gundam: Hostile Frontiers

"They're of no consequence, after all this is a confederate City." he said referring to Ginsis "The martians were so eager to break free of our protection, who am I to extend it to them?" he shrugged. "Besides casualties will rile up the confederate, while giving us some plausible deniability due to this being a 'Terrorist' attack." he didn't want a full war quite yet, but he wanted to push the dominos over now. "This is just the first push."

"Sounds fine by us. After all Mars is not Jupiter now is it. I will send a time table and plan of attack as soon as I make contact with my other group and get the ball rolling."

Re: [RP] Mobile Suit Gundam: Hostile Frontiers

Adam and Michail where catching little shut eye before the party was heading back. Both em had chosen them selves a small corner where to lay their head.

Meanwhile, Mizdec was getting his team ready to deploy. As he was waltzing around the mobile suit maintenance bay when one of his pilots, Graham approached him.

"Sir, are you going to deploy the Triple S?" Triple S or SSS was a short hand Special Suit Squad, the three special units in the company's disposal.

"Yes, you guys will get to sharpen your skills too, only Susan has had the privilege of combat."

"Good to hear sir, I'll make sure to tell Susan and Lukas as well." Lukas was the pilot of the Griepe, while Graham piloted the Suivant.

"Please do so, Graham. We'll be heading out soon so make haste."

    "Yes sir."

"Alright, hold everything!" Tumbili shouted as he walked in front of the screen.

"Hey, down in front!" someone in the audience yelled.

"Shut up, you!" Tumbili said to the person as he pointed at them before turning back. "Did you really get Christopher Walken to play that part?" he asked as he pointed his thumb at the screen behind him. He shrugged as he continued. "That's fine and all, but I hope we don't go over budget with that."

"No one likes your stupid Fourth Wall breaks!"

Tumbili pulled out a pistol and fired the entire magazine into the audience member. He reloaded and put the pistol back into its holster. "Now since that's over with, I return you to hour regularly scheduled programming."

    Chapter 5: Bulls on Parade
    May 4th SA0021

Martian Citystate of Ginsis, Confederacy Consulate

It had been three days since Guzman's forces had joined back with Lance's things had been running smoothly, the Highway Star was nearly repaired, and war hadn't broken out yet. Katarina was curling a strand of her hair watching the news Esmerelda and the other Union rep was on the TV with the reps from mars things were moving smoothly but they seemed to be moving. Feels too easy.

"Something's going to happen." Lance said as he fastened his mask, he was behind the couch in their room.

"You think they'll hit Ares city?"

"No. Nowhere in new Olympia is safe for the Union to do anything with. Whatever they plan on doing it'll be somewhere else." he said but he didn't sound completely sure. "None the less, we've seem to be fully repaired just about, the team is biting at the bit aren't they?"

"Seems 50/50 they like the downtime, but well they're on edge." she sighed "And I have to play motherbear. I miss the mob it was easier fighting when told to fight, delivering shit when told to deliver shit."

"Take the day off, I'll make sure the ducks stay in a row." a small smile played a crossed his face. "We could both take the day even maybe." Katarina just let out a snort. "Was worth a try." they both laughed as he left.Who first, still need to interrogate that Enhanced soldier merc we picked up some more, Bob should be about finished repairing Big Boy, Izra and I still need to hash out his final plan. At least the others in the crew are easy. Sure Tumbili's weird bit he hasn't asked for much. of course, he wouldn't lie to himself I wanted Izra along for his resources potentially. Or at the least just him as an assassin would be handy. he thought as he walked though the halls of the consulate where they were staying. He arranged a schedule in his mind, a mental to do list. Suppose I'll start with him as good as anything. he thought, once he got his ducks in a row here, he hoped they'd continue being in a row. Either way things were looking up for Lance and it was coming together if nothing else. Just needs to hold a bit longer as fucked as things have been. he just needed to stop Jackson or at least play as quickly as he'd been. Father, this path you set me down doesn't end up being worse than the alternative. Lance pulled out his phone and tapped out a message sending it to Izra to meet him at the consulate's Lobby in five.

    -------------------------------------------

Citystate of Ardun, Royal Military Base Zora 53 Meeting Chamber 1

Geraldson was the only one in the room, it would be moments before everyone arrived, he looked out over the busy military base. Foot soldiers running drills, transformable MS doing fly-bys up above. Despite spending the majority of his life in the military it was all foreign to him though the bustle of it all. It seemed so untidy unlike how it did in space, where the fleet ran with almost lab like precision at least in comparison. He did like it though, getting more of a view of how the men and women serving Ardun worked, he couldn't get this view on a ship nowhere was open enough. Almost envy the groundpounders. he thought. The door creaked open behind him he turned to see Boone walking in, first to arrive. "Ah Harris. Early as always." he remarked.

"Old habits." he said obviously he wasn't at ease.

Geraldson motioned towards one of the chairs "Sir. Relax." Geraldson knew why he was being like this. "I've sensed some awkwardness since I've arrived from you." he looked at Boone head on. "You need to let it go, it's been eight years." he said simply.

"He died under my watch. Your son, tell me don't you find it hard to look the fathers of the people who've died under your command in the eye after you've lost them?" he asked Geraldson nodded. "Jason was a good kid, and he was-You have every right to blame me."

"I did for a time, and he was Important to you, you saw him as a student or something of the like. He was important to me too damn it." he said, Jason Geraldson was his youngest of two sons, and was the only person of his ill-fated attempt at being a family man who ended up talking to him after his divorce from his wife. "Harris you're no longer in the Military so I can't order you like this, but put it behind you. No reason to torture yourself about it still." he said, putting it to rest. "So what do you think of the youngman. Hommel, he as good as his brother?"

"Potential to be better. Had better scores in allot of areas. But he lacks the same calm...he's wanting to work on it though. Seen him fight he's good does drills frequently enough. He earned graduating at Lieutenant." he said, "At the same time he's a bit impulsive, that lack of calm I mentioned and is too emotionally invested in getting his brother's killer. I think that's why he pilots more than anything that and feels some form of responsibility for his citizens. Been trying to show him to look at the bigger picture when I can."

Speaks highly of him. Almost like he spoke of my boy. Geraldson nodded but he had similar thoughts to how Harris outlined it, from what he had saw during his three days here on mars at least "Would that more world leaders felt that way. Apparently the Chancellor took a big interest in him and his education...said something about feeling sorry for a family having two large loses so close together." he sighed, it wasn't much longer until Thomas and some of the men from the Ardun and Norman forces walked in. "Lieutennant good to see you."

"Thank you sir." Thomas said saluting, he sat down when Geraldson motioned to do so. After a bit LaForge and Bell came in from the ship, all that remained was Mizvec and whoever he'd bring to this, there was still three minutes till the meeting was called, he figured Mizvec would be early.

    -------------------------------------------

    Earth Colony Arcadia

Chancellor Jackson was in the back of a Limo, he was just, along with the rest of the Earth Union council members participating in a teleconference with the negotiations on mars. They had been a bit of a bore. He pulled up a private communication line to the Colonel "Colonel. I take it your final preparations are underway?" he asked "My own newly arrived forces on Mars will be under taking a mission in the arctic circle in about in hour, that'll be the perfect window."

Re: [RP] Mobile Suit Gundam: Hostile Frontiers

Mizvec, Lukas, Graham and Susan in tow arrived shortly afterwards.

"Admiral, Gentlemen.I would like to introduce the members of our specialist team or Triple S as we like to call it."

"First is Lukas, he is the pilot of the Griepe, our long range unit."

    Lukas gave a firm salute.

"Second is Graham, his is the pilot of the Suivant, our support unit."

    Graham also saluted.

"And finally, but by no means the least, is Susan. She is the pilot of our finest unit, the Epyon."

Susan saluted as well, though hers was somewhat less poised.

"Together, they form an undefeated team."

The channel came to life but the chancellor did not get the Colonel, only a written statement.

"Chancellor, I'm unable to break cover long enough to answer you in person. I can only send you this short burst transmission. Yes plans are in motion. Our assets are in place awaiting the word to set things off. We will commence the operation in 1 hour. My prize better be there. a full set of operational plans are attached to this message."

    *Izra got the message*

"....fuck I'm still tired." he said to himself as he peed, he washed his hands then brushed his teeth and got dressed in his usual attire, weaponed up, and grabbed his board and left for the consulate lobby, he figured he should walk there but opted to ride his board slowly, Slow enough so I can just carry the helmet he thought as he rode in, "S'up?"

Re: [RP] Mobile Suit Gundam: Hostile Frontiers

Efficent. My team should be on their way to the Martian Antarctic by then. he thought. He sent encoded confirmation that he received the response and then dropped the line looking over the plans. He hoped though that while the attack would cause a good amount of Panic and distrust in the Martain government and citizens that he wouldn't nab his quarry just yet. This pilot they're after will be a good carrot to dangle in front of Jupiter. If anything we should capture him.

    -----------------------------

    Ginsis

"Been meaning to discuss your terms for continued employment, I have the time now." he said "I was hoping to do it sooner, but organization is a pain in the ass in these cases especially doing it in Territory that isn't yours."

    ------------------------------------------

"Triplets?" Harris asked in reference the two men he was seeing for the first time and Mizvec. "Kind of rare. Especially as all pilots."

"They're clones." he replied. "The Chancellor secured their security forces from a Scientest named Oberman. As far as my knowledge they're the first full human clones that have been successful." up until now it was only organs that had been successfully cloned, though Geraldson didn't know about Jupiter's forays into the art, as someone who nearly became a biologist he had to admit he was interested in how it went.

Thomas was the first to speak. "Isn't cloning Illegal. The Union charter revision of 2140 or something around there, after ill fated attempts."

"Yes, but as you know Luna is exempt from that, part of the Treaty of Olympus Mons was that scientific restrictions for companies and the such on the moon are a bit more lax. Not to mention mars, or the Astroid belt." he said just listing off examples. "They'll be treated with the same respect as any other contract soldier would understood?" there were murmurs of agreement a crossed the room. Thomas meanwhile just nodded he didn't seem to like it nor was he extremely upset it seemed. "Anyways, onto the mission at hand" he said he tapped a console at the end of the room, it pulled up a map of the Antartic region of Mars, zooming in on a particular hillside, before cutting away to show a large underground base.

"This base is known officially as XF-005. It was a Martain research facility made to monitor the terraforming process decades ago, but during the war it wore another name, Hammerhead." he said. "Along with many other bases it was left behind at some point during the war, allot of it's secrets mothballed. Until recently it's remained hidden until now, we have surveillance footage of a large mercenary force finding and beginning to crack open the base, this was four days ago." he continued with a sigh. "For the most part the base was left abandoned, most files and records taken or destroyed, however there are several mobile suits and other weapons that were in early prototype phase, systems that still hold some strategic significance as later prototypes and even production phases are just beginning if these were to leak it could be disastrous. Further more, if war with Mars breaks out, the facilities hold a capacity as a good garrison for forces in the lower end of the southern hemisphere, it's also the only base of note on either side in the antarctic." The base was revealed more, it stood in the center of the mountain a long cylinder with quite a few chambers, coming out like the spokes of an uneven wheel six corridor's came out from it, three had been unsealed so far, each one went to a different face of the mountain. "The plan is as follows, we'll be taking one Argama class ship. There'll be three teams, one led by Commander Bell with members of his team on it, another led by Mr. Harris here, and the SSS will make the third arm. The teams will get in position as we keep the ship back, once in position the ship will come in providing bombardment of the hill to shake them up a bit before you get in, and take out their anti MS batteries on the hillside, once that's done and the risk of avalanche is over, your three teams will advance and eliminate any resistance. Bell I want you to bring an EWAC suit or something with an Electronic warfare suite, Hommell your suit is to use that new pack we brought to fill that roll, between those two, you should be able to hack enemy systems and get into the bases computers and with our systems reboot some more functionality, use it to your advantage, Mr. Mizvec if any of your suits can fill that roll I suggest you do it as well. Any questions?"

"Any idea what their numbers are?" Thomas asked.

"Less than 35 MS, a number of mobile workers, landships and tanks though but they should of of little trouble. Aside from the SSS, each team will have 10-11 MS in it, all brand new acrossed the board, from what we've seen most of their suits are outdated, but, there are some prototypes they could of taken over. Something to keep in mind."

"They've probably resupplied in that time."

Thomas nodded "I was about to mention that."

"It's possible it's why LaForge and his team will be on standby. Anything else?"

Re: [RP] Mobile Suit Gundam: Hostile Frontiers

"Probably. Follow me to the ship. Katarina's taking the day off so can't use the room here. Need to check the ship and some of the crew anyways. Two birds and all." he said leading the way. The walk was relatively quiet, mostly because lance was focused on reading Intel reports as they came in on his mask, he occasionally remarked on them here and there. They made it to the ship, it was mostly finished up, the last few repairs being put on the MS bay as the teams worked on it. "We're about to be airborne again thank god." he said as he led the way into his secondary office, he told the various crews he'd be in there for the day if needed. Once he and Izra were in he motioned him to sit down. Behind lance's desk a one way window overlooked the hangar, but no one could see in. "Relic from it's days as a Union ship," he commented on it "Now, what was it that you had in mind?"

Re: [RP] Mobile Suit Gundam: Hostile Frontiers

*Izra put his board against the wall and his helmet on the ground as he sat down*

"Well. I've thought about it and I've come to terms with the fact that one day, I'll have to go back to the League to make sure things are clear. My problem is that with whatever you do and what I've been paid to do have probably not gone unnoticed. And since for all things considered, I was always on the quiet end of things, making noise is sure to attract attention. Which is what we've done." said Izra, "I'm also not in any real position to know whats actually been going on in the League since I left. Not sure who's in charge, if it's changed or it's still the same person I know. There really wasn't much contact after I retired, handlers pulled out and I kinda figured I was good to move on. So it's hard to decide how to move forward. You could be walking into a hornet's nest of problems if I stick around. But they could also be cool, maybe. I was at least respected in some aspect. And that was before I fully mastered Mushin. I did it backwards though, I applied it to my everyday life then it kinda started clicking in combat. I can't do it when I pilot Ace. I barely know half his functions. But yeah...I don't see an in between. It's either make good with the League and go about things or expect them to come after me if we cause more noise. This ain't a bad gig, so I don't mind sticking around but just figured you should know."

Re: [RP] Mobile Suit Gundam: Hostile Frontiers

Lance nodded "Making good with them could end up being beneficial. Because if they come after you not only will if someone in our little band gets in their way, be in danger, but I don't doubt that Jackson will try to hire them and take me out. Make friends and offer them more in the long run before he gets to them." he thought about it "I'll leave it to you, you can walk your own way, be it working with us separately, or just cut it off, but if you want to make nice, you have my full backing should you need it. Help sweeten the pot perhaps. I admit my goals aren't purely altruistic, an organization like that on my side, or hell even the safety of them staying neutral is a huge boon to me."
