    What's Your Favorite Mecha Design?

Wasn't sure where this should go because I don't want it to be strictly Gundam designs. But yeah, is there one single mecha design you'd consider your favorite?

For me, I'd say the C.L.O.D. from the cartoon Xyber 9. I suppose it has a very war machine sort of aesthetic, but I think it has a lot of character to it in being a sort of mechanical gorilla. The colors are muted but not boring. It feels rather crude in a good way, especially with those large claws. It has to walk on them like a gorilla and even needs treads on the feet to help it along. There's a strong sense of weight and power to it. And I think all the weapons being mounted/internal adds to that: the C.L.O.D. is the full package, it's own arsenal. And I think the general look and feeling of the C.L.O.D. helps it really fit the post apocalyptic setting well too.

Re: What's Your Favorite Mecha Design?

That's way to difficult a question.

But, I have always been fond of the sentinels from the matrix........but that may not fall into mecha?

The designs in gun x sword are all unique and interesting.

    BIG O....it's Showtime!

    And Exia.....I love exia designs.

Just to name a few that stand out to me.

Re: What's Your Favorite Mecha Design?

This is an easy one for me:

Love the YF-19 from Macross Plus.

Edit: There are a few reasons why I like this mecha design: 1) It's a Shoji Kawamori design, and I've always been a fan of his designs; 2) As a fan of military fighters, this design stands out for me because it uses forward-swept wings and front mounted canards; 3) This design was one of the highlights from my favorite sci-fi anime... Macross Plus.

That's a hard question. Honestly a few years I'd probably of answered Zeta, but I don't think it is anymore, nor do I think I really have a single favorite kind of changes, or I have so many designs I love it kinda gets muddled.

Gonna have to go with the YF-19 too. Just an all around beautiful design. The Marauder comes in a very close second...

Re: What's Your Favorite Mecha Design?

I really enjoy the design of the Xamel... I mean, it would be hard to pick just one mecha design that is my favorite, but that would be way up there.

Still, a 2-in-1 Gundam design like this one is definitely the way to go for me.
