    BigDaddyCruiser's Completed Builds!

    Hey all!

Decided to start a completed build thread here. I've posted separate threads in the past of my completed builds but decided to just having a running thread like most people. So to start off fresh here's my completed battle damaged MG EZ-8!

It's been a while since I've posted a completed build here! Well I've been hard at work transforming my cats, Casper and Nerf, into Hi-Mock customs and I'm finally done! I'll let you guess which one is Casper and which one is Nerf! Enjoy!

The best part is that the cats look disgusted, in typical cat fashion.

LOL, these are awesome! Some of the coolest looking Mocks I've seen.
It's better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it. At least, that's what I keep telling myself with all my modeling supplies...

Just finished my P-Bandai Heavy Arms Custom EW! I loved this kit so much and always wanted an MG Heavy Arms! I'm glad I was patient enough to wait for the Custom release (even if it was P-Bandai )

    Enjoy!

    RISE SHINING GUNDAM!!!!

Getting this guy to balance on an action base was "fun." This guy really holds up and I made a video review (linked at the bottom) covering what makes this guy great. He required some painting though (Those gold parts definitely didn't come gold) Enjoy! Now my MG G Gundam collection is complete!

    Re: BigDaddyCruiser's Completed Builds!

Hey all! Finished up my latest custom yesterday which I'm calling the Gundam MKII Prototype Ver.

This is my own take on a prototype color scheme for the MKII in which I was considering what a color scheme would look like that would help engineers assemble the mobile suit. Usually prototypes are printed in bright neon colors to make different parts easily identifiable. Now I wasn't going to go neon on this kit but I did want brighter colors from the typical in universe "prototype" color schemes so I knew I wanted orange and white.

I decided to add gray for a bit of a real grade feel and blue because I needed a final color that would match well with orange. Since blue is the complementary color of orange, I thought it would fit well.

I also chose to give an orange stripe to assemblies on the left side of the suit because in most engineering drawings for assemblies (especially ones that are symmetrical) parts are usually marked in some way letting the engineer know the difference between a left and right part. In this case, the orange stripe means it belongs on the left side of the MS

I also made a video going over the project as a whole at the end of the pics here but overall I am very pleased with the end result.
