Re: NEXT GUNDAM SHOW Twitter poll

I think it might say something that people just wanna retread the story of a comic they all already read than see a new story in this universe. Or I could be over thinking it and it's just people latching onto a recognizable name. I dunno.
Granted, if I could, I'd vote for an Ecole Du Ciel anime just so that story could actually be finished and get a conclusion.

But yeah, thanks to linking to this. I voted.

Though alternatively, I wonder if an animated Crossbone might end up as a ZZ Gundam mark 2 in terms of following up a more serious show with something light hearted and that making a backlash. Like the people voting for it might not be aware that they're asking for something with mobile suit piloting monkeys and just remember the gundam looking cool in Build Fighters.

Re: NEXT GUNDAM SHOW Twitter poll

Monkies only pop up in skull heart odds are OG crossbone would be the one animated, then maybe S7. SH if it does well, but all of SH is non essential side stuff so most people don't care, or won't care.

That said silly or no Skull Heart has a better chance than Ghost and onwards.

Even then it's a bit light hearted (well not Steel 7, that's a suicide mission with...well mostly lives upto it's name) besides, but it has a big following I'd wager allot of people know what they're getting into and others will be disapointed, either because they didn't know what they were getting into or they just are. As a whole I think a CB animated could be successful, the thing is...well allot of the sellable designs either, A. Have kits or B. Don't appear until SH or Steel 7. (things like the Amakusa, Diona, Vigna Ghina II, and F90 for example, I think some weird Jupiter designs could sell, but would they take the risk? Well I hope so personally)

Re: NEXT GUNDAM SHOW Twitter poll

Thing is though if they made a 50 episode show out of a six volume manga, we'd likely get a bad show with too much filler. We'd probably HAVE to get around to some of the others like Skull Heart. And even if it's 24-26 instead, can you guess what season 2 would have to be if the first one got successful?

Though it doesn't really matter. We're talking about something hypothetical and years down the line, probably for the 40th anniversary.

Re: NEXT GUNDAM SHOW Twitter poll

I was imagining it'd be an ova, granted a longer one, but CB can be done in an ova. (Plus HF being the other option I imagined that OVA would be the norm there's not enough HF to make a series)

I mean I think SH will happen but it's one of those things I se them doing after CB and S7 (S7 could probably be a movie in all honesty it's realitively short or maybe a three episode bit like EW) I don't see ghost and dust getting animated at least not soon, especially since dust just started. Crossbone it's self is pretty well tidied up for the ending from what I remember anyways to test the waters.

That said I think SH would do well anyways and be liked for the most part maybe not in the West but it matters less.

    - - - Updated - - -

In all honesty I can see monkey zakus selling as a gag but maybe I'm overestimating the charm. And yeah SH would probably be S2 if it's a full series but I don't see why it would be a full series not that I would argue. Don't get me wrong SH would be risky but I personally would like to see it. And honestly I hope that if this were to happen CB would do well as a whole so maybe they're less gun-shy about late UC there hasn't been anything aonce Victory for late UC and I'm tired of seeing the OYW and CCA eras.

@Mythos: It most likely means continuing what happens after Unicorn.

I still want another OYW story. Like Lost War Chronicles or Missing Link. Both are similar to the 8th ms team but with a better story. Or The return of Johnny Ridden would be great because it takes place after 0083. It has a great story and awesome ms designs.... but theses will never be. I can dream can't I.
