Very nice! Then again, I've always thought the GP-02 looked awesome, so I might be a bit biased.

^ the G system version... droolllll. If I had the money and that level of skill. $742 US F**K that is what I call a lottery Gundam. You have to win the lottery to get it.

    Re: Urban's WIPs

Finished up the build on the GP02 last night. Very interesting build to say the least, given the very stiff joints compared to what I'm used to. Definitely not a very poseable kit, but what a looker. Some minor painting and panel lines are probably what I'll be getting into this evening or this weekend, and then this one will be completed!

    Re: Urban's WIPs

Been a bit busy as of late, but work on the Physalis is progressing well. Mostly working on painting the finer details before moving to the bazooka, backpack, and thrusters.

Snapped this one together this morning; this isn't even what I had in mind for the custom work, just wanted to see what it'd look like. I think I'll call it the "All the Dakka" configuration...but then I realized I still had FOUR open holes on the backpack plus the shoulders, forearms, and waist holes, so it would seem that I didn't bring enough dakka along...

    Re: Urban's WIPs

Finally got the GP-02 into a finished state; just a couple of teaser pics before I get some better pics of it to put in my completed kits thread.

And I've finally gotten around to redoing the Wall O' Gundam to get all the MSiA figures on the same wall around my gunpla shelf.

I guess it was just the timing on it all; I was in the last years of high school/ first year of college around this time, so I guess the urge didn't hit me quite so hard. I did get an extra Ground and Nu Gundam figures to play with, though. And I had a larger-sized SEED kit (Launcher Strike? Is that what is called with the shoulder-mounted mini gun and damn big beam cannon? Haven't made much effort to remember SEED much after Destiny left such a bad taste in my mouth) that I opened to keep on my office desk for a while. And I did happen to open the package on my Albion just to have a look at the ship from all angles, though its still in the box currently.

Collector's mentality or something, i guess, lol.

Thanks; can't argue that the GP02 specifically is my favorite Gundam out of the series.

I've finally delved into the world of scratch building! Had plans on making my GM Custom a unique build, and more so than just the up-arming I did with the weapon packs. Plan right now is for something resembling a beam naginata. Gonna have to thin down the shaft quite a bit to get it to fit into the hands, though I'm considering just trying to order some thinner rods now that I've got an assortment of pieces and actually have reference for dimensions of the scratch build supplies now.

You may have the ballistic hardpoints, but you probably don't have the tonnage to support it all. *kappa

May be the case, but one can always dream...

GM's in a bit of a disassembled state, but my first attempt at a scratch built weapon isn't looking too bad.

    Thank you!

A couple of quick vanilla builds here, but now that I've experienced SD kits for the first time... I may go back, I dunno. The Zaku's getting a fancier red paint job for a friend, and the KMRWA I think is going to have pretty much a complete palette swap to a blue and silver color scheme.
