I really like the look of that mod you did on the head. Great work.

    Re: Scorn's Workshop

Thanks so much everyone - I really appreciate it! This is what I was aiming for before, I think, I was just having trouble realizing it.

    - - - Updated - - -

Overdue for an update and not much has happened :P Got the head mods glued in, but there's some fixing and filing to do to make them fit properly. I filed down the back of the face plate but had to reshape it to fit. Still, slow progress is still progress!

    Re: Scorn's Workshop

Thanks! Now to keep from screwing it up....lol

A little more progress on the box. I'm struggling with this, I'll admit. Between the panels being completely separated without tabs and thicker than paper, it's really tough. I may resort to 3d modeling and printing it. I'll keep going with this for now since it'll be a good size reference, if nothing else.

    - - - Updated - - -

You know, it might be simpler to make it out of normal paper then just hit it with resin, like some cosplay builds I've seen but small scale.

    - - - Updated - - -

    Mmm putty.

Also some repair and detail work on the backpack.

    - - - Updated - - -

More progress! Working on the chest now. Bulky but at least a little streamlined is my eventual goal. I'll probably work in a vent or two somewhere as well. More than anything, there'll be heavy latch points, particularly for parachutes. I always thought the shoulders wouldn't really be the best place to take the strain of 50+ metric tons of counter force when the parachutes open...

Of course now I'm thinking I might need to beef up the knees or legs a little to balance. We'll see once it's further along.

    - - - Updated - - -

    Little by little.

Added thrusters to the legs, I think it'll help.

I've got a few more bits I'm thinking of. I feel like the legs need a bit more bulk, but I'm not sure how to add to it. Maybe a knee vent?

They do work for it, but they seem a bit large.

    Re: Scorn's Workshop

Yeah... I like the main housing, I'll have to see if I've got smaller nozzles.

And now for something completely different: https://skfb.ly/PAnN

All that talk about the Type 61 got me fired up, and with the permission of tekzo, I've been building one up based on his papercraft design here: http://myhobbycraft.blogspot.com/200...-tank-135.html

My goal is to make it 3D print-able, although the barrels might be best served with brass pipe. I'll probably make two versions of the guns. I'll put it up on thingiverse once it's done; probably shapeways, too.

Back to our semi-regularly scheduled MG. I replaced the leg thrusters, I like these much better. I'm really struggling with what to do with the hands. I like the gats on the arms, but what do I do with the hands? The guns seem sort of supurflous, there's already the backup Vulcans in the arms. I dunno, maybe a switchblade? :P

Well, if you could find a way to make it work, two combat knives or a beam saber would work well I think.

That's a good idea - I'll have to think about it.

In the meantime, it's detailing up and filling gaps.

This is shaping up really well. Lol I'd let him keep the guns for fun.

I may just come up with a variety of load outs lol

The tank is shaping up nicely, I think: https://skfb.ly/PAnN

Interesting rifle choice there, using the Fringe unit of the RE-GZ.

    Re: Scorn's Workshop

Fringe? It's just the center secton of the Re-GZ BWS - is that another name for it?

I've been systematically dismantling the Re-GZ MG for parts for some time now (see the knees lol). I'm seeing this as more of a 0084-ish modular test bed - I don't think it'd have the gatlings and the large rifle at the same time, but there are bits and pieces of upcoming UC tech under test.

    Re: Scorn's Workshop

Dunno...I'm basing it on the subs for CCA. When Kayra got hit by a shot from a red battleship near Axis, she referred to the BWS as the Re-GZ's "fringe." I'm not sure if that's the proper word for it, though.
