Got some more progress on the Jager kit, its a pain but it should pay off. I'll do the gap filling over my break. I'm wondering if spray paint will grip on it. It felt like there wasn't any mold release on it. I'm debating on replacing the hip joints too. On a final note , I don't want to glue the waist. Is there a way I can conserve the motion?

I would wash all resin Parts. At least that's my experience. If you want to preserve movement of the torso maybe you could drill a hole and insert a strong 'pin' in the waist and have it connect to the Torso? At least this way you could have it move from left to right, might be easier said than done. I've done it with some small Warhammer 40k Miniatures not to preserve movement but to strengthen the hold between joints...similar principle though. Hope this helps. Keep up the good work. I like your MS from Victory Gundam. An odd-looking duck it is.

Yeah I've done a lot of pinning work, so that might work. Is there an attachment for a dremel that can bore a hole that's like a ball joint? Maybe after I finish putting it together I'll wash it with some dish soap. Simple green might be too strong and mess with the superglue.

I wouldn't know much about a Dremel tool as I just use a pin Vise with various sized drill bits. (Someday I should invest in a Dremel tool.)
Dish soap is fine. That's what I used to clean resin parts when I did conversions for a few armor models. Do not use hot water! You will warp the parts. If you're trying to conform them back to their original shape, I would suggest warm water. Not cleaning resin parts will definitely cause paint to come off. Especially if you don't Prime.

    Re: My WIPs

I was planning to prime it for sure. Oddly enough the hot water didn't do much to the resin and it was boiling. This is some stiffer resin than what I dealt with in 40k kits.

Did some work on the waist. The goal was to create a socket for the ball joint so he can still rotate at the waist. So I cut out a little of the resin, put in the polycap then mounted the red part and anchored it with two pins. The gap is kind of ugly but I'll figure out a way to fill it and I'll take suggestions on what to add to make nice details there.

More progress on the Jager, the assembly is done, I just need to fill in the gaps and see if I can tighten his hip joints a bit. Liquid green stuff is really useful. I'm gonna have my milliput for the larger gaps though. Overall, the resin wasn't too bad to work with compared to stuff like finecast from citadel or their forgeworld stuff. He has a much nicer silhouette than the original.

Finally got the rollout Gerbera Tetra and its pretty awesome :3. I also got ten chain bases, and I think four of them should be fine for Sazabi.

Messed around with a few of these chain bases I got, I'll be modifying the layout to see what looks best. The instructions are awful and Idk if I could secure the weapon Racks at all.

Not that anyone reads this but I'm on spring break soon and I plan to have a Vidar 1/100, custom shiden, MG Turn A and full armor TB Gundam mostly built in that time.

Here's an update on the Gelgoog made him a custom rifle with what I had until I can find the Jager rifle. Going for a dark burgundy and blood red color scheme.

    Re: My WIPs

Messed around with the battle arms to make a support arm for the Mega Beam Rifle for Sazabi. It works alright, he can at least hold it in front of him and pointing upward pretty well without it sagging. The support alone can't hold the gun but with the help of the hand and wrist it can. Also I have a shot of my three HG crossbone kits. I'll build the X1 ver ka whenever this busy semester gives me a shot. The maoh took me like 45min to make.

I've noticed some pictures come off of my cell phone like that. I copy them over to my computer and open them with the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer, and there's a button to rotate pictures left or right. Once I do that, they'll show up with the correct orientation.
