    I think you are doing it correctly, just look at your finished work. WOW! Your painting method is the same as the way I do it. Lots of clips and tape just keep doing what you are doing.

    Thanks!

    My first painted kit was painted using spray can. its much faster but expensive and limited paint color. More time required for air brushing (mix thinner, clean airbrush, setup spray booth etc).

    so much to learn! will try shading /weathering in future.

    I do all AB its a lot easier for me in the truck. I thin my own and I just use acrylic crafts paint like from Michaels or Walmart. I have a bunch of wicked paint and a few others but that can get pricey. I have never used the rattle can. I do get a bunch of rattl can paint and decanter it into jars and I use that for my AB also.
