    Funny Chinese "Gundams"

Found this over at Gundam Kits Collection. It's a bunch of pictures people sent in of fake Chinese gundam figures they found either around the web or in actual stores. Had me rolling on the floor.

I've actually seen this one in person before:

Yeah, it was at some outdoor shop at Olvera St. in Downtown LA. I knew from the moment I saw it that it had to knockoff.

That "Maxter Gundam" looks like the Maganc Core suit from Gundam Wing.

Here in the PH bootlegs are pretty common, not just BL kits (daban etc) but funny stuff like this as well. They're great for a good laugh.

You know I've often heard that these bootleg model kits, like bootleg anime DVDs, are secretly funded and manufactured by the Chinese Triads, and then distributed all over the world by their distributors who then hock them off to gullible buyers who don't know any better. Of course, we here know better.

My local dollar store has a few. I'm always tempted to buy them...but I'd rather spend the dollar on soda.

LOL! The three I laughed the hardest at were the knockoff Tallgeese III, AKA "Strong Attack Warrior", the Deathscythe Hell "Disaster Warrior" (plus gotta *love* that color scheme!) and the Wing Zero "Double Gun Eagleman" especially. That one was absolutely hysterical

Browsed my pictures and found this, for only $1.06 you can bring him home! Found it in a grocery store (if you're in the PH, I found it in Puregold).

(they also used to sell the BL Nataku, Deathsycthe and Tallgeese found in the original post, sadly I wasn't able to take pictures)
