    Re: Gundam Thunderbolt Anime

Poster for the movie version of this season. Apparently it's gonna have more Acguy and Atlas in it, runtime will be about 90 minutes, and it'll be screened in Anime NYC.

Also more Acguy's from the latest part of the Manga:

Seems the manga versions are getting new toys like the ova versions, for the most part the Manga ones were pretty basic seems they're taking notes from the OVA. Which is fine by me the acguy add ons are the coolest thing the OVA added.

Are they releasing all-new models, or just addons for the existing kits?

No manga is still a bit ahead.

I just finished the last two episodes of season 2. Overall, pretty good. An improvement on season 1. I didn't care about the remnant Zeon until the last 2 minutes when they revealed what the monk cult was about. Still don't care about Daryl. Io was toned down from season 1. He's less of a psychopath this time and he plays off Bianca really well. Also, the music was better this season.

The first season for the anime was pretty good. But the second season was trash.

    Re: Gundam Thunderbolt Anime

Hmm... I was planning on watching the Second Season of the anime straight after I covered it in the manga first, but after reading Volume 7 and being told that S2 stops there, maybe I'll hold off until after the anime covers the whole of the South Seas Alliance arc.

While I get that Sunrise wanted to capitalise on Thunderbolt's popularity, I think it was a mistake to make a S2 so soon and instead they should have waited until the manga was further ahead and possibly not restrict it to only four episodes.

Volume 8 came in the post and now I can finally see what lies beyond the anime...

Y'know, I wasn't sure when this arc started if I was going to like it, but it's shaping up real nicely. Levan Fuu is a very interesting character and if this continues he may very well rise up the ranks of my favourite antagonists. <3

If you want to read all of them so far here is the site I use.
This has all of the mangas so far translated to English. I still get the book from Barns and Nobels, but at least I have read them all the way to the end so far. But he stops at book 7 and has not loaded book 8 yet. But this is just for anyone who can't buy the books but wants to see or read what has happened so far.

They do have book 9 on pre-order as well. Looks like I'm going to the book store soon.
