Re: National Gunpla Retail Store Database

I always thought that either Alaska, or North Dakota were the least populated state in the US, but it's Wyoming? That is interesting.

Alaska has the lowest population density (people per square mile). Wyoming has the lowest total population and the second lowest population density. North Dakota is sparsely populated measuring by either metric.

Also, not all shops are equal. Some overcharge, some sell at retail, and some sell at really good prices.
No kidding every shop I've been to in chinatown and japantown have insane prices.

Zeta, I forgot to add another California shop. D&J Hobby in San Jose sells gunpla as well but they have two very big cons. They're nearly almost out of stock on their gunpla, and two, the prices they charge are simply outrageous. Like I was in there the other day and noticed they got a Hi-Nu Ver. Ka in stock so I looked at the price for funsies...and wasn't laughing at all. They wanted a whopping $100 for the kit, whereas I paid $70 over at Tatsu for mine. So needless to say, I do not buy gunpla there. Period.

A hundred dollars!? I could buy 2 MGs with that amount of money. Also, is that price with or without tax?

If you look around and know all the gunpla stores they almost match up the yen price. Im lucky enough to have friends who are in the bussiness and run it, Los Angeles has the best gunpla prices hands down. Makes my customers in this forums happy and my clients outside

    Is your mind blown yet?

Reminds me of the time I went in there and seen they had a Nightingale. I think it was like $145 or something before sales tax. Nearly shat myself.

Re: National Gunpla Retail Store Database

Indeed. For that reason alone I wasn't going to add them to the California list, but figured I should, even if for the sake of helping out.
