    Star Wars Thread

Feel free to discuss anything Star Wars related here. So that we can try courteous and have some sense of civility on this thread, let's keep swearing to a minimum, be respectful of other people's opinions, no flaming or trolling, etc., etc.

    I"ll start first:

Here's another poster for Season 2 of Star Wars Rebels:

And this was my reaction :

So what do you guys think of Rebels so far?

    Re: Star Wars Thread

I have only started watching Rebels, but i got a few thoughts:

I like the main cast better than i do Clone Wars and Stormtroopers are inept. I mean, wow.

In general, im semi casual fan of the franchise. I enjoyed the original trilogy, i like some parts of the prequels, im interested in sideworks and EU, ive played some of the games etc.

    Re: Star Wars Thread

Empire has to be my favorite.

Also I'm in the same boat as Dom, I like SW, but I'm more of a casual fan, seen the books, played some games.

Looking forward (albeit cautiously) to Battlefront. I like DICE's games, but EA is always a bit of a turn off, though they go hand in hand, and some of the things they've said make me skeptical, but BF tends to be pretty quality (Albeit not at launch lol BF4) though I am willing to give it a try when it comes out for sure. Esp after all the fun I had with II even the F'ed up PSP version.

Man i loved BF2 so much. Easily in top 3 of my most played games. It was so satisfying to blast those rebel scums.

So I've got a question for you SW: Rebels fans out there, who do you think this person really is:

    tumblr_nn1e5cdmdz1tm8cw5o2_1280.jpg

After doing some reading and searching, the SW community opinion is split 50/50 that this person is either Ventress or Bariss. What do you guys think, Ventress or Bariss?

According to the comic version of Ep III, wasn't Bariss blown away by a Clone Walker Cannon? And According to further comics, Ventress faked her death and disappeared to the farthest reaches of the Galaxy never to be seen again...and yes, if I recall correctly, they are considered cannon.

    Of course.

The events of the Season 5 Finale of The Clone Wars have changed both their fates. Ventress was last seen in lower sectors of Coruscant while working as a bounty hunter, while Bariss Offee was to stand trial for crimes against the Republic. According to Dave Filioni, Bariss was not executed.

Love it, and I love the X-Wing. Seriously, while the TIE Fighter had better maneuverability and slightly more powerful blaster cannons, the Incom T-65 X-Wing had shields, proton torpedoes, and a hyperdrive. It was a much more versatile craft, like the F-16 Falcon.

The Bandai X-Wing comes with both stickers and water decals, and you can replicate either Red 3 or Red 5...

    Re: Star Wars Thread

I got introduced to Star Wars through video games, starting with that really strange one on the NES where Darth Vader turns into a scorpion-like monster as his second form. It wasn't until I played Yoda Stories on the PC during the Windows 98 days that I really got interested. It kinda waned in and out, though, depending on whether I had a really good Star Wars game to play.
