Into a another matter, this is THE most underrated ship in the franchise.
    - was used through out Clone Wars and for decades into the Galactic Empire.

I like both aspects of Star Wars personally, tho the space monk more. The X-Wing novels are like my favorite books in the SW lineup tho, most of the Jedi-centric stuff is quite predictable and therefore boring in the books.

There's one Jedi-centric comic that is pretty interesting. Kanan: The Last Padawan written by Greg Weisman is interesting as you see how Padawan Caleb Dume turned into the Rebel known as Kanan Jarrus. Speaking of Rebels, only a few more weeks until new episodes of the second season begin. I'm so excited! Here's a look at the faces of the new Inquisitors:

Doesn't the female Inquisitor look a little... familiar?

A bit yes. Hopefully they are more interesting than the last one. And when will Stormtroopers stop sucking so bad?

    Re: Star Wars Thread

Funny enough, the last Inquisitor held the rank of Grand Inquisitor as a nod to the now Legends Inquisitorious (which seems to be slowly making its way into canon). You know after the Rebel incursion at Mustafar, and the resulting destruction of Grand Moff Tarkin's personal Star Destroyer, I wonder if the Imperial Security Bureau will get an increase in their budget?

    I certainly hope not! #Rebel4Life.

Ain't that the Jedi chick that screwed Ashoka over? Luminara or something?

Yes you're thinking of Luminara's apprentice, Barriss Offee.

It is entirely possible that the female Inquisitor could be Barriss, as Dave Filoni mentioned that she was never executed for her crimes. However, I do not think that this particular Inquisitor is Barriss but maybe another Mirialan that was trained under Barriss (Force-senstive Mirialans tend to train other Force-sensitive Mirialans). I mean, 15-16 years have passed since the formation of the Empire. If Barriss is a part of the Inquisitorius, she could very well be a Grand Inquisitor at this point.

    Re: Star Wars Thread

Her former Jedi status might effect her rise thru the ranks. That or the Dark Side crazied her up more than anyone thought would happen.

Besides, if Ashoka's playing a bigger role than Barris kinda needs to come into play. She's the reason Ashoka left the Jedi.

Palpatine might allow her to move up if she's skilled enough and committed enough to his cause.

    Re: Star Wars Thread

The same guy who had Darth Vader made using Grievous era parts when they had more up to date robotics so Vader would never be able to surpass the Emperor?

Oh wait. That's "Star Wars Legends" info. Probably doesn't count now in this "new" canon shit.

    Re: Star Wars Thread

For the record, Legends is ambiguous in terms of continuity. Some of it may be true, some of it may be false. Who knows? I mean, the Inquisitorius was part of Legends but now it's canon (sort of).

Until the KoTOR era and even the Jedi Civil War era is fully established as total canon I will continue to talk shit about that particular subject.

    Re: Star Wars Thread

In other Rebels related news, we have a glimpse at who Sarah Michelle Gellar (better known for playing Buffy in Buffy The Vampire Slayer) may be voicing in season 2:

Is this a hint, or is she just trolling with us since she'll be at NYCC soon along with other Rebels cast members?

So I got my hands on a genuine one of these things (Graflex 3 cell flash), I was thinking about fully converting it into a lightsaber, but now I'm seriously considering against it.
