It is going together very nicely, having a play with wax True metal gold and gun paints, applied with a hairy stick.

I find sanding the heck out of it and then spraying it with multiple layers of filler primer helps. The few pieces i've really done, i usually lather it in putty, then sand it. Then i hit it with 2 in 1 Rustoleum primer.

ok... dumb question. Can you paint over the wax true? It's looking good as well.

Thanks for the decals pic, they look pretty good quality. I interestingly have some of the Lowe decals left from the MG build that are scaled up for the 1/60. In particular the Lowe Junk guild and the freaky "you are not alone" gibberish heart.

Now I'm contemplating a Zoid, red sabre tooth (well the black painted my lush red) as well....... it's like an out of control flow chart or basic programming with no loops back. Yes, No, if, then, else..... all lead to buying something and just spreading out.....

Cheers mate, I thought as much. I did get a few extra parts to practise on and i tried a derelict on low speed using a grinding wheel and that worked quite well.

Do you know I don't know, I will seal with a acrylic clear gloss and I should be able to paint over that if it dries properly.

I would assume you can based on the vids of people testing the durability of the finish.
