That gold looks ace. What paint is it, and is it hard to get gold looking that nice? I have some small bits of gold to do on my Astray Red Frame...

I'm guessing it's Alclad True Metal Lacquer.
Pro tip for fixing seam lines: It rubs the puddy on its seam or else it gets the hose again.

It AK true metal, its a wax type paint, and takes some getting used to.

Close but the wax AK true metal paints are a lot less hassle to use. For the strike frame I just brushed it on left it for about 3 days and glossed over it....

Tried some new paint today this is the chameleon paint from greenstuff. Sprayed over gloss black and 4 light coats of the paint and I will gloss coat later as it's a bit satin at the moment. Very easy to use and the colours changed is great

Cheers all, trying to figure out a good colour for the lighter blue at the moment.

And the RG Sazabi has just arrived and thinking of painting him in a similar way but using chameleon reds.

I think the red goblin would look awesome depending on the lighting.

Another Gold that is really good and easy to use is Craftmate from Micheal's Crafts. It will spray right out of the bottle and you can brush it on as well. either way works well. The cool part is the more layers you put on the shinier the finish gets. Put on one layer, let it dry for about 1 hour and then add another and it will just get shinier.
They have a great Brass, and Silver as well. Clean up is super easy with normal "Paint thinner", or I use mineral spirits and that works out just as well.
