    Re: RPC's WIP ~ my first MG's

Nice work on the leg mods, works really well. Looking forward to seeing the finished ma.k tank too, seeing you build that from scraps of stuff has inspired me to start saving bits of junk that might make an improvised diorama for one of my finished Gundam, as a future project.

Cheers Hooliopaulio, I will get back to both builds soon but started snapping the RG Unicorn together it is gorgeous...definitely one you have to build to fully appreciate.

I keep fancying the Unicorn, but always end up buying something that 'looks' cooler to me. I fancy building the Banshee version if I do get one, I like the dark blue with the gold inner accent..

Thanks both for the very kind words.

Here is the unicorns sheild finished, it should be no surprise I'm going down the weathering look for my RG Unicorn.

That shield is dead sexy. You do very good work with weathering.
Pro tip for fixing seam lines: It rubs the puddy on its seam or else it gets the hose again.

Edge shading on that shield looks amazing. How'd you do that?

With this a weathering set, I used the sand colour then added the light sand on the very edges and then sprayed over with matt top coat. I first tried it out on the backpack but it needed a little more care and adjustment but it worked out much better on the sheild.
