What's wrong with the white? The metallics are looking great. They have that realistic tone and tint to them.

You are correct, sprayed a few small parts metlic red (ts 38) and a few others in Italian red and they look much better. Infact i might be using both reds for a 2 tone red effect.

I have had a nano led arrive in the post today so might replace the synajus mono eye with it.

Ok so the LED ended up in the head og the Wing that i custom painted and frankly i think it looks bloody great and it fitted in without any mods, held in place with some bluetack for now with the very fine copper wire running down the neck, under the back dack and down the stand.

A few pic to show you they are not the best and i forgot to take one of the led inside the head. If you would like to see that part let me know and i will oblige.

Wing looks great, rockandpop! It's like a completely different MS in those colors. Absolutely gorgeous. Bravo!

    Re: RPC's WIP ~ my first MG's

Cheers im happy with how it turned out, a lot better than mu currant model, not enjoying so keep flitting from one part of the kit to another with finishing anything properly. I should have put it back in the box for a few weeks.

    Re: RPC's WIP ~ my first MG's

After losing interest in the Sinanju i had RB-79 arrive in the post this week, so i thought i would make a start on it at work today. A nice simple kit to put together but the details are really nice, this one is all about the paint and painting the a detailed frame. I also plan on adding a few led's to it as well.

I really like the Ball MG. I've considered getting one for the longest time just because the inner frame is so nicely detailed.

How come you lost interest in the Sinanju?

    Re: RPC's WIP ~ my first MG's

The Sinanju requires to much time commitment all at once to get anything done on it, something i don't have with 2 kids and 2 dogs, they all come first so i need a kit i can pick up and put down easily. I will finish the Sinanju but he is in the box for now.

The Ball is very nice so far and im really looking forward to picking up the details with paints. I have orded my self some nice new brushes just for doing this kit. I do still need to order the leds and water slide decals, i might have to get the shark mouth decal set...
