    Re: RPC's WIP ~ my first MG's

I kind of like some of the "scattered" parts. It makes it look like the plants are trying to crawl up and take back the rock face.

Keen to see the "how too". I've done rocks before by using untreated cork. looks like moss rocks. I had to do a Night Vision Lighting large scale dio to demonstrate the effects to pilots on acuity through goggles with different moon lighting levels and position relative to the scene. Nerdy engineering stuff. God I loved my job back then.

Cheers Mark, on with the substation and jetty for the top of the hill now. I have also ordered a 1/100 scale 1940s truck that might get the ani-gravity engines conversion as well for this dio. Not sure at the moment will see what it looks like when I arrives

This must be from the Star Wars Universe. How do I know this? Simple, there is a walk way stretching out to nowhere, with nothing under it but death if you fell and it has no railing. All bottomless holes, and dangerous walkways over long falls have no railings in the Star Wars movies.
Darth Maul fell into a bottomless pit, no railing. Han Solo long walk way over nothing...no railing...hummmmm

The hard part of my job, Safety Director. But one reason I would like to live in that universe. No OSHA regulations, and I bet they don't have UNIONS either. what a wonderful world.
But don't get me started about "Cloud City"! Tunnels that open to nothing! Easy and open access to a long empty shaft at the core. And a carbon freezing chamber that has no safety prodigals. Why someone could fall into that and get frozen in carbonite!! That is one big law suit waiting to happen.

    Re: RPC's WIP ~ my first MG's

I spend my time messing about with untested pharmaceuticals and hazardous chemicals, health and safety in a nightmare of regulations.

Now I look at it again, I think your right about the SW look to the hill but that will change when I add the jolly-boat.

    The jolly-boat looking jolly.

Possible additional flying truck to add to this.

Cool truck. I love how you find stuff and make it work.

Many hours browsing sites like this, it's all been done before you just have to find and adapt to fit your needs.

First off COME ON ENGLAND! The best and worst thing I have ever seen on tv, how many times did this build nearly end up on the floor!*

Now we have a flying jolly-boat.*

lol, yup I rocked up at the servo to fill up and get my red bull and large coffee right at the 90 minute mark (5:30am here) and saw the near goal of the series from Columbia followed by the corner at the 93 minute mark. I missed the extra time and penalty shoot out as work was another 30 mins away.

Yea after you posted yours, i noticed while browsing fb, hers pop up, and another one from a scifi magazine last night. I wonder if fb is listening to me say oh that's cool out loud via my phone lmao

I saw this really cool vehicle at the last model show that made me think would be cool to make fly like a ma.k falke. Your flying boats and trucks are really making me want to go ahead with it!
