    Non-Gundam Mech Series

I am always on the lookout for good anime and especially good Mech series, I know there is not much like Gundam and especially find it hard to find a Mech series without Aliens.

I have seen a lot of the following:
    Valvrave the Liberator
    Full Metal Panic
Watched Knights of Sidonia (despite it having aliens)
    Code Geass
    Martian Successor Nadesico
Gurran Laggan (also despite the alien thing)

Did find a series called Aldnoah.Zero that seemed cool but have not gotten the chance to start it yet.

Anything I have missed? Also please just do not post the title of a series add a synopsis or some epic clips (I don't mind small amounts of spoilers either).

Always Metal Armor Dragonar. It has some gundam similarities though. I do like a lot of the mech designs though. I want a falguen kit.

I also did like Zoids /Zero and Chaotic Century. Zoids/Zero has Zoid battles done more like a sport. Chaotic Century has a war going on.

Those are the ones off the top of my head other then Patlabor which I never finished.

I surprised you guys haven't even mentioned any of the Macross series.

Macross Plus is great. As is Armored Trooper VOTOMS and SPT Layzner.

I'm not in a Macross mood that is why but I do like Macross and Macross: Do You Remember Love. But it has Aliens in it.

Because I've only seen Robotech, and I dare not mention that.

You poor fool. I've seen the true Macross and it's re-dub done by ADV when it was still around. They actually got the original Japanese VA of Lynn Minmay, Mari Iijima, to voice the same character in English. Surprisingly, she spoke English very well.

Yeah, Macross is awesome. Robotech not so much, but I suppose it was still much better than some of the crap that would have been airing around the same time. It truly is a crime that the Macross franchise is mostly trapped in Japan due to a licensing clusterf*** and Harmony Gold/Robotech.

    Re: Non-Gundam Mech Series

Well thanks, I have seen Zoids just forgot them lol and I am never in the mood for macross because it has aliens and a rather large amount of series all of which have varying reviews and a bit of a complex timeline that I do not feel like getting into. Also I do need to finish Patlabor I watched about half of it so thanks for reminding me of that.
Cross Ange seems cool from the synopsis.
    Metal Armor Dragonar looks decent.

Also keep in mind NO ALIENS!!!!! lol

I also prefer things much more science fiction as opposed to Knights and Magic, not that I don't like that stuff just I enjoy Scifi much more.

    Aldnoah is a great show.

Other shows from not to long ago, but not mentioned, Buddy Complex, Ginga Kikoutai Majestic Prince,
"What do you mean it's OUT OF STOCK/BACK-ORDERED!?!?!"

If Newtypes can predict the future, and feel their opponents intentions, how come none of them were ever able to dodge the Bright Slap?

    Re: Non-Gundam Mech Series

While it's technically a cyberpunk series, the original Bubblegum Crisis OVA also features mechs (thanks Masami Obari), particularly in episode 5. The rest of the time it's chicks in powered armor vs robots/cyborgs of some variety or another. Try it and you won't be disappointed.

So you basically prefer Gundam as it has (mostly) no aliens and leans towards the Real Robot Genre rather than the Super Robot Genre.

Also, what's wrong with aliens? Are you some kind of alien racist?
