    Lacus Prime's Gunpla Builds

I do mostly straight builds with some panel lining.
Here's the Amazing Exia and Build Burning Gundam, which I got for myself last year for Christmas:

Definitely like it more than with the backpack.

I honestly don't get the point this...

Somehow i find it sad that the BBG can pull off the sniper pose better than my GM K9...

Destiny was one of my first kits, never panel lined, didn't remove nubs either.
Which means he became screen accurate to Shimon's Destiny...

    Who will reign supreme?

Prime nice builds. I am betting the God Gundam will fare better against your Build Burning Gundam :P

    Re: Lacus Prime's Gunpla Builds

Since it's valentines tomorrow (I have school tomorrow so I can't build) decided to build the HG Wing Gundam Fenice.

My brother already has one but I can't resist getting one for myself.

What's not to get? If the GN Sword is retracted to use as a beam rifle there might not be time or space to whip that giant blade into place. The outer saber corrects that.

Either way, that Exia is amazing. As are all Exia IMO.

It's blade on top of a blade.. it didn't make sense to me at first.
But what you said does make sense.

    Re: Lacus Prime's Gunpla Builds

Well, lets be honest, I didn't pick my screen name "Exia" for nothing lol. Gotta admit though, I prefer the Dark Matter version where it's just that beam rifle/shield and saber. I just think it's cool even though overall I prefer the Amazing version over the Dark Matter. Hmm....That might be my subconscious thoughts of reading Amazing Spider-Man as a children.

Yeah, Dark Matter Spider-Man just doesn't have the same ring to it.

Nice builds, Lacus! What's next after the Fenice?

Feeling a bit lazy right now, but perhaps my R-Gyagya is next. I just need to fix my shelf so that there'll be space for her when she's done.

After spending almost 2 months as a backlog, finally got to build my HG R-Gyagya.

Arms do pop off, so be careful when posing. Arms will hold a pose though.

The kit looks great even as an OOB build. How's the articulation on it?

I like the lining you did. Gives it that cartoony vibe.

For such a bulky kit, it's actually decent.
Head is on a ball joint.
Arms are attached to the body via ball joints.
Arms bend at one joint but it's more than 90 degrees. They can also rotate and move sideward, although it is hindered somewhat by the huge shoulder armor.
    Waist has decent articulation.
Legs can bend at 180 degrees, can rotate, and the ankles have good articulation too.
The shields are also articulated, you can pose them in a lot of ways.

Hmmmm, very nice. I'll make sure to remember this kit down the line as a future project.
