Next update, I only mentioned this build briefly in my posts. But I have finished the snapping and building of the frame for the PG Wing Zero. So far I haven't hit any of the reasons for people to say that this kit is not a very good kit. But maybe that stuff is in the future for me, I don't know. All I know is that so far it is a good build. Sure it's an older PG and they apparently loved to use nut and bolts for almost everything, but I knew that going in.

No not yet. Maybe when he turns 4 I do like the idea of making it into a drifter though.

Thank you. I try, but I tell you what building at home now is so much easier than it was in the truck. Now this years goal is to at least finish a kit or two.

I feel the same way about the Wing Gundam as you. I have had this kit for a long time but I'm just now in a position to build it. But like I said a lot of people have given it some bad reviews but that won't stop me, I will still build it and love it for the Gundam goodness that it is.

NO batteries not included. It is OK it only takes 2 LR43 type so I will pick up some latter. And there are more than just those two large builds going on. I also have the Meteor Unit going and the Dendrobium as well. My table is a bit full at the moment. I put the NeoZeong away, I will get to that latter.

Well what the Hell, what's one more thing during this build to piss me off, but not really. I primed it, sanded it puttied it, then primed it again reputtied it and it is smooth and ready for paint. Spend a couple nights making just the right Red that I like, and start PAINTING!!! HOO RAYY!!! Nope not so fast. apparently the red putty that worked so well in tests decided that it no longer wanted to match with the red I was using. So I have to stop painting and let the parts I did paint fully dry. Then mask it off, and prime the putty spots, sand reprime and make sure it is fully covered before I can start painting again. But other than that I really like the way this color red is coming out so far. Good thing I made a bunch of it. LOL

    Re: Monkeys Garage

that does suck. looks like you are pushing through it though. and i also have a PG wing zero. my complaints about it are it cant hold its wings up or stand without using them to lean on. or hold its rifles. the fingers break off really easy so be careful with them. and the red rubber ab section is a pain and does not look so good to me. would be a nightmare to paint to.

Ya that rubber part look like it is going to be a bitch. it dose not help that when it was packed they put it in between two other parts so it has a permanent fold in it. I will try the hot water trick and hope I can get the fold out of it. It is kind of a lazy way out of making the mid section though I would have thought that Bandai was better than that.

    Re: Monkeys Garage

Yea mine had a fold in it to. It come out from being streched by the frame of the kit but it looks like shit. I love the wing zero custom but that part is the reason I never intend to even try to paint mine. I know it can be done with rubber based paints but I know it will never look as good as solid plastic waist we usually get. They could have done much better on this kit. Also the chest articulation to move the shoulders sags a lot and does not look good because of it. It also binds up sometimes and you have to take it apart to fix it. Its a huge pain in the ass. Id kill for a 2.0 of of it.

    Re: Monkeys Garage

Well some of the issues you mention will not be to big of a problem,I have stands for my PGs so he will not have to stand by himself. I have noticed the fingers tend to want to fall out but it is OK I don't play with them I generally set them up on display and leave them alone. so I might glue them in place and set him as a static pose and leave him that way.
