    Re: Skulblaka's Completed Projects

^Thanks a lot. my man. I want to do justice for the kit by giving it proper presentation, and I'm satisfied by it, to be honest.

Ridden: "Hey, I've heard of you. The White Wolf, right? Nice to meet you."
Matsunaga: "Oh, this is a pleasure. I didn't expect to meet with the famous Red Comet."
Ridden: "! I'm not the Red Comet; I'm the Crimson Lightning!"
Matsunaga: "Oh, I'm terribly sorry. Then, I'm counting on your support, Crimson Lightning Char Aznable."
    Ridden: "... Forget it..."
    Matsunaga: "Hm? What's wrong, Char?"

I'm new. New to the forums, new to the hobby, everything. I just clicked your thread randomly, but I can't NOT reply to this. Your work is amazing. Everything is so crisp and clean and professional looking. I'm really very, very impressed. Excellent work on all of the models in this thread. I hope that someday I can reach your level of professionalism.

    Thanks for showing them off!

Oh wow, nice to see you're still in the hobby, man. Your SD Sinanju looks great. Smooth finish, subtle pre-shading, and the gold trim is clean.

Big fan of the RG Destiny and yours looks fantastic. Love your color choices and the overall clean work. Although late, it's a worthy addition to the Group Build, man.

^Thank you, good sir, I've thought to post it under in the Group Build thread, but I can't bear the shame being 2 years late..

    Re: Skulblaka's Completed Projects

To be honest, it's not actually that difficult, man.
    1. Smooth surface
    2. Primer (to make sure the paint stick well), i prefer to sand it to make the surface smooth enough, or you can use Mr. Finishing Surfacer 1500 (it's feel really smooth)
    3. Black gloss for base coat.
    4. Silver/chrome/gold coat of your choice. In SD Sinanju's case, i user Gaianotes Pearl Silver.
    5. Add post shading if you would, using darker metalic color. In this case, i use Gaianotes Steel Iron with a bit of black.
    6. Clear color of your choice, 2-3 layer of it.
    7. Last step, polishing... A lot of it. I prefer stepping up, 1st coarse then fine, then finished.

All of it, using airbrush, of course..
