    @thermoshok

    Kotobukiya is a solid company. It's top quality just like Bandai. If you are familiar with Zoids model kits, those are their products.

    You can get that kit for a much better price. Also, check out the alteisen reise. It is a much cooler kit, and is alot bigger. Be warned, Kotobukiya kits often require glue for smaller parts. Parts are also much sharper than Bandai quality, and the plastic is a bit more delicate.

    wanted to make sure before i buy this kit, i like the 1/100 scale witch is perfect size. Bleeding from these kits i hope not but the term blood sweat and tears will actually fall in afect for this kit.

    Go here: http://dalong.net/

    Up top, click on the kotobukiya button/label

    It'll show all the kits from SRW. Click on any that interest you. It's best to right click on what you want to see and open in a new tab. This auto changes to a psuedo english translation. Almost every review by dalong has a comparison of the kit to a hg and a mg Rx 78-2

    heres' the 1/144 reise: http://dalong.net/review/kotobukiya/srw23/p/srw23_n02.jpg
    the one you linked is about the same size.

    There is a 1/100 version but not of the reise upgrade: http://dalong.net/review/kotobukiya/sb02/p/sb02_n02.jpg

    The 1/100 actually has an led in it for the head. My friend tc did a review of the 1/100 on youtube, he had problems with the led though.

    Honestly, i'd go with the one you linked or the Reise. They're supposed to be much better kits, being newer kits.

    Re: Is this model company good?

    The original price for the 1/144 scale version are about 50. The 1/100 was originally about 60. Anything in those price ranges would be good. Unlike Bandai, Kotobukiya doesn't really make new batches of their older models, so if you want a kit, get it when available.

    It seems like Amazon has the best prices for any of them. I would suggest if you're going for 1/144, either get the reise, or the progressive version you first linked. The original version is an early release in the line, and those two have improved the kit greatly.

    Sweet!

    I've renamed the thread since the topic is mainly about the different kits now that it's been established that Koto kits are a okay!

    Re: Kotobukiya/Super Robot Wars Kits

    All this talk about SRW has made me want to get the nacht version. I like it in blue alot more. I wish the reise version had the katana as well.
