Stupid autocorrect.... Zeta hurt my sensitive little feelings! I’m gonna tell my mom, and she will call your mom, and then you are gonna he in sooooooo much trouble!! Now I’m gonna go cry in the corner.

Zodiac are cool but let’s face it the original Zords were pretty cool also.

The funny thing is my auto correct has zord ready to go, but not Zoid. WTH Zoids are way cooler and have been around a lot longer. Stupid autocorrect.

They haven't come in the mail yet, but my girl got me 12 MADWORKS chisels. So far the best place to get them are from StudioDash, he has the best prices around. Now I'm eyeballing the mailman everyday. LOL

    Incorrect.

The first Tokusatsu show to have a giant robot to beat down the baddies was the '78(?) Spider-Man show Japan produced.

Zoids only started with models in '82....

    Re: Latest Kit Acquisitions!

Here's the Christmas haul; not a lot of kits, but I have a heck of a backlog to get through, so I'm giving that whole responsible purchasing thing a go...which is why I bought the Granddaddy V2.0 as a gift for myself this year, lol. Actually, it was more of inspiration from a certain movie trailer that rather prominently featured the RX-78-2, and the desire to build another MG. Really hyped to get the rest of the Origin manga books too; gonna be powering through those the next few weeks.

It's better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it. At least, that's what I keep telling myself with all my modeling supplies...

True the Japanese had giant robot shows since like forever. But ZORDS is a power ranger thing and that is actually from a Mexican/American producer and the Power Rangers we're in the middle to late 90's and they have power Zords so those were the Zords I was referring too.

I know that. Super Sentai and Kamen Rider are my sh*t.

For the most part each Sentai Mecha had a specialized name so it's easy to see why they just called them all Zords. It wasn't really mid 90s, it was more early 90s. 1993 and all was when Power Rangers kicked off. Used the battle footage from Zyuranger which came out in '92. Was so successful that Toei actually filmed more scenes specifically designed for our version using the Zyuranger props. They never did that kind of thing before.

Oh you can breeze through those books pretty quickly. I'd say you can get done with one book in about an hour.

    Nice, man.

As for me, I didn't get any Gunpla, but I did get few movies (The Force Awakens, Rogue One, and Dunkirk), Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, a bike, and a sweet turtleneck shirt. Which reminds me:

Nice haul. That gmc pickup kit is a nice kit. I have that same one. I plan on making it into a replica of my 73 Chevy truck.

Maybe, but I'm a notoriously slow reader. Most times I'll wind up reading a chapter or two a night before bed, or get distracted and be reading one of the other half dozen books in the pile by the bed for a night or two. Everyone's got their methods, I guess.

You like Kamen Riders? I never knew that.... I actually watched a few of the shows after (reading ) you talk about them. Not bad, I kind of liked it not what I expected it to be. I will have to watch some more.

    Re: Latest Kit Acquisitions!

Okay, okay, last time I buy any gunpla this year... I mean, I had to spend that Christmas money somewhere, right (plus a bit more...)? At least I hit a couple of firsts this time, as in this was the first Ball and first Zaku I kits I've ever purchased. And the Fumina wasn't originally gonna be a thing till I found it at Hobbytown USA; they even had some of the Mk.II Axis Image versions of the Axis Angel and a couple other limited release SDs, and cheaper than what I could get them through the usual routes. But, since I already had the Titans maid, I figured I'd get the AEUG maid to go along with it.

And I've got the weekend to myself, so I'm getting geared up to do some serious snapping today. Got started last night with the Zaku I and a 1/100 Graze I've had sitting around while starting in on watching the Police Academy movies again. Could explain the weirdness going on with that Graze...

It's better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it. At least, that's what I keep telling myself with all my modeling supplies...

    Latest Kit Acquisitions!

My ZETA quest is almost complete! Even though I have the TIEFSTURMER I still would like to get the official Bandai DeepStriker to complete the set.

And for the EX-S Gundam, the G System upgrade parts.
