Re: "What Kit Should I get?" & Recommendations

Zeon fans! I would love your suggestions for Zeon MG and NG 1/100 kits! I have the Mg Sazabi (Praise be!),Mg Sinanju,RE Nightingale,Mg Zaku 2 BTS Ver, and working on currently the Mg 2.0 Gouf. As much as I love my Astrays, this site has corrupted me into a love affair with the enemy.

    Gouf custom-
+ just a bad... design, it has a Gatling shield
    - poor articulation. Dated kit

    gelgoog 2.0
+ Nicer proportions compared to the 1.0, lots of detail.
    - poor leg articulation

    acguy
+ Solid kit, cool gimmicks, lots of inner frame details, huge blank pieces that you can add custom details, decent articulation

    - huge amount blank spaces with no details

    Gyan
+ It has great articulation, unique design, it has pegged hand like the zaku 2.0( it can hold 2.0 weapons with no issues) has a led beam saber.

    - has very little inner frame detail on the legs and arms, no details on the armor. The shape of the legs makes it very difficult to scribe panel lines.

    Zaku cannon.
+Basically a zaku 2.0 with different armor, a different cockpit design, a cannon on its shoulder and rocket launchers on its waist

    - basically a zaku 2.0 with different armor.

Man, now I want that Acguy. I looked up some pics, and that inner frame is sick!

Who wants to trade me one?

I have 2 mg acguy kits. I snapped one of them last week. It really is a cool kit especially with the spring loaded claws.

As for is the RM The only way to make the perfect strike? As Far as I know yes. That is unless you want to do a bunch of fabricating to the original Strike. The RM comes with different parts to convert the Aile pack to fit both of the other weapon systems. I have built my own perfect Strike, but that was in 144. I used the RG strike and the RG weapon systems. But then I had to use some of the HG parts to make the Aile pack work. It is still a work in progress, but it is a pain in the a**.
I did look at Amazon and they have both the RM strike and the P-Bandai weapons pack with free shipping, but it would still be $85.19. But free shipping so that would be the total.
Just remember this is a money sucking, life sucking hobby! But in a good way.

Also I was looking at close up pictures of the weapons system and they don't look different from the original set. Just a little more details added.

Thanks for the help, Monkey! I really appreciate it

I'm thinking of building a Zeon aquatic force. Anyone have any experience with the HG Acguy, Gogg, and Zogok kits?

Im doing the same thing but with mg kits lol.

I've only built the hg acguy. It's a solid little kit. I haven't built the hg gogg and I really have no desire too. As the the Zogok. That seems to be a really good kit. It's on my buy list.

I considered going the MG route, but I've already got the HG Zock and RG Z'Gok, so I figure I'll keep 'em all in the same scale.
