    Personally I prefer SMD LEDs because they are smaller.

    I ended up using the second option in that post you linked, the smd version. Kind of wish i didn't after adding the resin effects, they lost a bit of their effect.

    If you do use the 3mm's just remember, light bleeds, so make sure its covered all the way around the bulb.

    the light bleeds i usually use tuilip black fabric paint works like a charm but in this case i need to do something else

    does anyone have a diagram on how to hook a attiny 85 powered by a battery something simple to instal in a model

    help with leds

    i am having trouble with the arduiono and programming the attiny85 chip
    i am getting this error "error while burning bootloader" and trying to program the chip itself
    i get this "arduino core not installed"

    what am i doing wrong on the bootloader? squee in know u did some similar work on this and help or suggestions on what to do?

    Hi all,

    I am thinking of adding LEDs into my next PG Red Frame's transparent parts (except the backpack. I think the wires will be too exposed) but i figure a single battery on the top of the heads will not be able to sustain a total of 7 LEDs (6 x SMD + 1 x Miniature) so can anyone suggest where I should put the batteries? On the body perhaps? I will use the switch on the head to turn on and off the lEDs.

    Hi all,

    Wondering if anyone has tried using small tritium vials instead of LEDs for simple things, like lighting up a mono eye on a zaku, or a GMs helmet sensor. I was able to slide one into the eye part of my MG Rezel. Fits perfect, but its dim. Any thoughts?
