Cheers, future doctor. My one advice is be strong, and don't give up.

Did you mean you can focus or can't focus at work. LOL Whats got you so tight? I know it is easier said than done, but when things were bad in the MARINE we would tell guys. "Just live chow to chow" or "rack to rack" Meaning just take it one hour at a time and let the rest go away. One of my favorite sayings over in Iraq "The day is only so long" or "It should stop soon, they only have so much ammo."

^ Just want to say this advice can really make a tough time more bearable. I've had plenty of stressful days, including the first two weeks with my son, and taking it a bit at a time allowed me to get through them without losing my mind. Afterwards, I look back and marvel at how I was able to do it.

But at the same time Iím sitting in my comfy office watching the snow. Not driving a truck in it.

It's actually weird you posted this today, because just a few hours earlier I kid you not I set the Lister XJS as my desktop wallpaper.

I sometimes wish I could get a white Christmas like that. Living in SoCal, I get a hot, dry, and gusty Christmas. And the smoke from the Thomas Fire in Ventura County is not helping at all.

That's cool! The XJS is a wonderful car to drive, I love mine. Strange thing is that the straight 6 is faster than the V 12. It's lighter so it is faster off the line and the top speeds are just about the same, so why have the V12? Well the big V12 badging does look cooler so there is that.

Yeah I've seen pictures of that fire it looks nasty even by California standards, I hope you're able to stay safe. Yeah a white christmas would go a long way to help honestly. AS much as I got tired of the snow last year when we had a few feet most of the time untill February it was the main reason we didn't have any fires this year. Usually we get one or two close to us, not california big but big enough to be a worry.

Oh damn that is yours, I was wondering. It's cool. And yeah Inline six would be my choice as well unless I got to get one of the crazy Tuning 80s house versions like the Lister or the Koenig specials but that's a pipe dream. But yeah I've wanted an XJS since I was a kid near the end of their production run, the area around here would be great for it since there's plenty of long open roads for it to eat up.

I can never not think of this when talking about Jaguar anymore.

I'm fine as I am well south of the fire, but sometimes I can see the smoke even from where I live.

Anyone know what this “huu8Ld87” messaging is all about? I’m not touching it, it’s all jiberish and something about Pinterest soccer.

Could just be spam. Be best to ignore it, and/or report it. I'm sure the mods and admins can handle it.
