Yeah, that was pretty intense. All I could think of was Riddie telling Mineva to say "Sig Zeon!" lol

You cannot stop Batman. Entire planets have tried. When Batman crosses railroad tracks, the warning lights are for the train's safety. The four fundamental interactions in physics are gravity, electromagnetism, weak nuclear force and Batman getting what he wants.

*Ahem* "Sieg Zeon". Like Sieg Heil, but less nazi.

ANYWAY, I feel kind of lonely being the only Brutal person on the forums. I know my music is a bit of an acquired taste, and very rare (and I don't wanna hear it GNZ), but out of curiosity, how many of you have even heard of Djent/Dubstep/Brutecore/Mathcore/Deathcore/etc.core?

Haha, at least there's one other dubber here than the four here in -insert disclosed area-.

One of my friends in the UK showed it to me, so I kind of spread the love. I am pretty much the first advertiser of it here in my area. I can claim that "I found it first" bit.

    Re: Favorite bands

I have a few bands / groups that like:

    Angels and Airwaves
    LIGHTS
    Assemblage 23
    Avril Lavigne
Linkin Park (Their first few albums)
    Colony 5
    Neuroticfish
    Unsun
    Within Temptation

but for the most part I <3 movie and Game soundtracks. I have it all from the complete 6 hour score of Modern Warfare 2, Assassin's Creed scores, and movie soundtracks like Inception. When I look in my itunes my top 50 most played songs are almost all game and movie scores =)

Oh, I just ordered the Japanese LE of the new Linkin Park that comes with GP01A... I rather liked the album when listening to it on the band's MySpace, so I think it'll become a fixture in my truck.

(Joining a current rotation of Leona Naess, Throwing Muses, Simon Stinger, and something else that I'm just totally blanking on this morning... need to drag the heavier stuff out for the winter, still.)
I was led astray by bad directions.

That said, you would probably love Globus. Long story short, they're a group of musicians from Immediate Music, a company that makes a lot of the music in movie trailers.

oh yes I know about Immediate music and Two Steps from Hell. I love the music they make. It's a shame most of it is heard in movie trailers but never actually part of a movie or game score.

    Re: Favorite bands

Been listening to a lot of periphery lately, saw them and parkway drive a while back, going to see Bullet For My Valentine this month.

I'm also picking up Born of Osiris' new album, and just got the Suckerpunch soundtrack. So much awesomeness there lol.

Lawlz, got SP soundtrack too. Wonderful movie.

Born Of Osiris' new album is phenomenal. Very Technical with some Djent tones.
    Periphery is always amazing.
Borgore keeps finding its way to my ears.
Upon A Burning Body is always fun to listen to.
Datsik and MGMT have been dropping some good stuff.
Ever Forthright only has 3 singles out, but man are they good.
Tosin Abasi has been working on some cool stuff lately.

That song is making me smile Ok, putting Skrillex on to listen to at work today! Thanks SFA.

Ok, so that's dubstep, eh? Apparently I've been a fan, just didn't know the genre's official name.
